Hope all is well in your part of the world. I have a card to share today for several challenges: <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/03/freshly-made-sketches-627-sketch-by.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a>, <a href="https://timeoutchallenges.blogspot.com/2024/03/challenge-259-special-collaboration.html">Time Out</a>,<a href="https://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/just-us-girls-718-in-collaboration-with.html"> JUGs</a> and <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-a-bit-o-green-2/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.</a> JUGs and Time Out are doing a collaboration and the theme is "birds of a feather". I recently received an order from Simon Says Stamp that included the sweet little bird die set called Sitting Sparrow from Memory Box. Perfect timing, right? Here is what I made.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcPpqGmt860WkJXg6TqXk-1Ei_aFLV-p5ojfHO169UnjAXl8zJcdzAl_KrXqqpTmVVwPH9HaIReGBQPvzJkzTkYS6arnAtn7FBsVknhP_p-2ECQa7nekTcUt_JXSys1nH2o2K4DSAZW0eeBN3E9f3qqgqiVcHXCpQ0Tm97Rudb6pRZf8uGusvkJ96Q1Zr0/s2301/sitting%20bird%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1809" data-original-width="2301" height="450" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcPpqGmt860WkJXg6TqXk-1Ei_aFLV-p5ojfHO169UnjAXl8zJcdzAl_KrXqqpTmVVwPH9HaIReGBQPvzJkzTkYS6arnAtn7FBsVknhP_p-2ECQa7nekTcUt_JXSys1nH2o2K4DSAZW0eeBN3E9f3qqgqiVcHXCpQ0Tm97Rudb6pRZf8uGusvkJ96Q1Zr0/w571-h450/sitting%20bird%202.jpg" width="571" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>I used a MFT brickwall stencil and some grit paste that I tinted with Hickory Smoke distress ink re-inker for the background. The little bird is sitting on the Memory Box Magnolia Leaf Branch that I die cut from watercolor cardstock and then colored with distress ink re-inkers in Brushed Corduroy and Bundled Sage. I tried to do the same thing with the bird not once, but twice and both times it was an abysmal failure. So, I went back to my tried and true technique of inkblending with my Waffle Flower 0+ blending brushes and distress oxide inks. This time success! Once the grit paste had dried (with a little help from my heat gun!) I assembled the card. Since I wanted the card to be an Easter card I finished with the Happy Easter sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Bunny Love stamp set.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz6AIg32kZ7e8IJsyt1Jsul4AS_XqQgZmQeh4jUaa2R-wpWDkbmbz0WI0Sd-BgV-Yrc2f0Sy2G3ogNWjVjPuLLqmsVW2gc8mUShNBOFbbfkVC8Tgi1bPbIkVh32lgkAoNh53xwk3-1BldWNM3UsxIXEqT0_s8CLTfQwSXrsrCtxUIMubrmcO0MIuAgWMnM/s400/FMS%20Landscape%20Sketch-001.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="309" data-original-width="400" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz6AIg32kZ7e8IJsyt1Jsul4AS_XqQgZmQeh4jUaa2R-wpWDkbmbz0WI0Sd-BgV-Yrc2f0Sy2G3ogNWjVjPuLLqmsVW2gc8mUShNBOFbbfkVC8Tgi1bPbIkVh32lgkAoNh53xwk3-1BldWNM3UsxIXEqT0_s8CLTfQwSXrsrCtxUIMubrmcO0MIuAgWMnM/s320/FMS%20Landscape%20Sketch-001.png" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVt10VoRSZUTNZL0YdLYrojt1FCmixv9vvmyM0ngBwSfWxLdUhGKWUbm1NURutowTSjL14XGiezhRWHjsID9N-f2p3Ecu_-wcfNlNFyyX_RnlANjzVEUP63e5DtEmSVW3rD8zXZuPalb9xWDEw3f92LJOYbTb3kACWET2ibIK4WJ2bfrxiTnaAQjo9bShb/s320/259.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="197" data-original-width="320" height="197" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVt10VoRSZUTNZL0YdLYrojt1FCmixv9vvmyM0ngBwSfWxLdUhGKWUbm1NURutowTSjL14XGiezhRWHjsID9N-f2p3Ecu_-wcfNlNFyyX_RnlANjzVEUP63e5DtEmSVW3rD8zXZuPalb9xWDEw3f92LJOYbTb3kACWET2ibIK4WJ2bfrxiTnaAQjo9bShb/s1600/259.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!</div><p><br /></p>Rosemaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04174508034383387053noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143024388773957806.post-336987391959891602024-03-13T06:30:00.000-07:002024-03-13T07:02:50.757-07:00Birch Press Design Post<p> Hello! Popping in with a card for <a href="https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2024/03/color-throwdown-challenge-783.html">Color Throwdown</a> and the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-add-a-sentiment-5/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge</a>. I used a new Simon Says Stamp and die set called Bunny Kisses to create a little scene. Take a look.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAoVflbnKlCJU4OiL_UrbLaYLMjaBy0ZgghFAMZlcICFAVpKV4yyTIiVywoR9ji4N12GE75ke0COnA5RHLAMVD3o-KnoG2JgjUGrC7fZXhma1z8jLkBLque8hZO7TxFc0IoAHCWUMvIY3tyIHZZB6Bxud-l0GSZhg6fnF1yzd8Qx89CX7rdW4eoo86Dn4N/s2426/bunnies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1961" data-original-width="2426" height="450" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAoVflbnKlCJU4OiL_UrbLaYLMjaBy0ZgghFAMZlcICFAVpKV4yyTIiVywoR9ji4N12GE75ke0COnA5RHLAMVD3o-KnoG2JgjUGrC7fZXhma1z8jLkBLque8hZO7TxFc0IoAHCWUMvIY3tyIHZZB6Bxud-l0GSZhg6fnF1yzd8Qx89CX7rdW4eoo86Dn4N/w556-h450/bunnies.jpg" width="556" /></a></div><div><br /></div>The<a href="https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2024/03/color-throwdown-challenge-783.html"> CTD colors</a> this week are peach, sage and cream. I focused more on the peach and sage colors, although I do think my peach is more of a pinky peach than an orangy peach. I used Pinkfresh Studio Coral Berry to stamp the larger (momma) bunny and then Stampin Up! Flirty Flamingo to stamp the inside of the ear, nose and cheek. The smaller bunny was stamped using Bundled Sage distress ink and the inside of the ear was stamped with PTI's Ocean Tides. Originally I had the nose and cheek for the smaller bunny stamped in the Ocean Tides, but I changed it to Coral Berry. I think it looks better. I used an MFT cloud stencil to add the background clouds using a warm grey ink and then an MFT grass line stencil to stencil in the grass using Bundled Sage. I used a very light hand with both colors. The little hearts were also stamped in Coral Berry. I added little pom poms to the bunnies' tales for a little bit of fun. The sentiment was stamped, die cut and adhered with thin foam squares. Simple, but cute I think. This will be going to one of my great nieces for Easter.<div><br /></div><div><br /><p><br /></p></div>Rosemaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04174508034383387053noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143024388773957806.post-1513331440801184302024-03-07T14:58:00.000-08:002024-03-07T14:58:08.852-08:00turquoise flower...<p> Hello! Popping in with a card for a few challenges: <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/03/freshly-made-sketches-626.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a>, <a href="https://colorhuesthecolorchallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/color-hues-82-turquoise-and-green.html">Color Hues</a> and <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-add-a-sentiment-5/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge</a>. Couldn't resist the lovely Color Hues combo so I pulled out a pretty Memory Box floral die and made this:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJuypKXJMDEO782DBLZo4Q8nwT6IylcsAtDHzxsJ0vYFjw1NFB7LYdbLV7gLSKFG7JCN6XaBl2ONHuk37vtsLpIdViuvXh8dhZc-8xwsd_0di464Xhc8ofmFQjWkofLlMB7SSg9N69CpB6Jkzt2Le7sWaEBxwLKpHjk2yHMGTBDK-fCc15o4ojHRRWQUjn/s2305/turquoise%20flower.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2305" data-original-width="2104" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJuypKXJMDEO782DBLZo4Q8nwT6IylcsAtDHzxsJ0vYFjw1NFB7LYdbLV7gLSKFG7JCN6XaBl2ONHuk37vtsLpIdViuvXh8dhZc-8xwsd_0di464Xhc8ofmFQjWkofLlMB7SSg9N69CpB6Jkzt2Le7sWaEBxwLKpHjk2yHMGTBDK-fCc15o4ojHRRWQUjn/w584-h640/turquoise%20flower.jpg" width="584" /></a></div><div><br /></div>Memory Box recently came out with 6x6 pads of beautiful color coordinated cardstocks. I used the Lagoon and Greenery 6x6 pads to die cut my flower and leaves from. The arched die cut is also from Memory Box. After I die cut it from white cardstock I die cut it in half for the split element from the FMS layout. After adhering all the pieces of the flower together I layered everything to a white cardstock panel that I embossed with a sweet floral embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp. The embossing folder is a 3d one, but I ran it through my die cutting machine with only the embossing folder and my base plate. The image was embossed, but not deeply and I really liked it. I finished the card with a new Open Studio Greeting Tab Happy Birthday sentiment and some turquoise fairy jewels.<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGuon4-VAge6vX-_FutNHeu0PGCa7il_5hcnYW5LzSHxwWR3_vX1XGkYgktxpdyn9Hc_4opfzyMiFFSXD5500zTjxeFolt8XGYvGW4uX2NFlRKSfqWtQFvrJHWjg3zuH-OX1ST5Te3LI5LAwckG9rSXTZKRDT8okWdvrPkaWuplBUVYx6lXWLqAdgDc_0X/s400/CH%20%2382%20Turq.%20and%20Green.001.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="326" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGuon4-VAge6vX-_FutNHeu0PGCa7il_5hcnYW5LzSHxwWR3_vX1XGkYgktxpdyn9Hc_4opfzyMiFFSXD5500zTjxeFolt8XGYvGW4uX2NFlRKSfqWtQFvrJHWjg3zuH-OX1ST5Te3LI5LAwckG9rSXTZKRDT8okWdvrPkaWuplBUVYx6lXWLqAdgDc_0X/s320/CH%20%2382%20Turq.%20and%20Green.001.jpeg" width="261" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXNa0PMSiNh9SJRbrQyC_uk6CmSLAfLqA27xHKKS6wBvBcazSdCMN42HypTGeOXr3pVfjemPeclKezAS6Ej7d0PQHqVWF3BYddg65cM0R5iwYDw9RfGXJwKxYFLzNh2arr6FtxsUQz15XxVH2ge_0260IoZCrAxB7AKVR95m8OMxbceCuxGM0lBeIFLZ_i/s400/FMS%20Final%20626-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="286" data-original-width="400" height="229" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXNa0PMSiNh9SJRbrQyC_uk6CmSLAfLqA27xHKKS6wBvBcazSdCMN42HypTGeOXr3pVfjemPeclKezAS6Ej7d0PQHqVWF3BYddg65cM0R5iwYDw9RfGXJwKxYFLzNh2arr6FtxsUQz15XxVH2ge_0260IoZCrAxB7AKVR95m8OMxbceCuxGM0lBeIFLZ_i/s320/FMS%20Final%20626-001.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!<br /><p><br /></p></div>Rosemaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04174508034383387053noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143024388773957806.post-11159293614704010012024-03-01T15:30:00.000-08:002024-03-01T17:30:04.227-08:00mixed media tag...<p> Hello and happy March! Can you believe it is already March? Where is the time going?! Spring isn't quite here, yet, but I'm definitely in a spring-like mood! With that in mind, I decided to play along with the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/?p=34330">Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge of fur or feathers</a>. And I will add this to the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-anything-goes-114/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything goes</a>. The amazing <a href="https://stickydots.blogspot.com/2024/02/blackbird.html">Emma William</a>, who is on SSS Monday challenge design team, created a beautiful tag featuring a bird. Her tag is a bit more moodier than mine, but I was 100% inspired by her tag. Take a look at what I made.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWzuepbAakVGXSc4r3ChrcXcpxdp6SzyPeU82Hbllf83rCTDj3GoEpmFRiL4Dsl3nd-8gJmUuMz9BAKdBWWTEkdndzcnlAKG6gibe2y98fi8Y51Y8t-ON4XwpjOdn3R421wasJT0d45DFtB8TDnyJNe3BaXMKkkriJuWgnncqmD4GXBtHAjBjo06DUAbCt/s2541/spring%20tag%203.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2541" data-original-width="2349" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWzuepbAakVGXSc4r3ChrcXcpxdp6SzyPeU82Hbllf83rCTDj3GoEpmFRiL4Dsl3nd-8gJmUuMz9BAKdBWWTEkdndzcnlAKG6gibe2y98fi8Y51Y8t-ON4XwpjOdn3R421wasJT0d45DFtB8TDnyJNe3BaXMKkkriJuWgnncqmD4GXBtHAjBjo06DUAbCt/w592-h640/spring%20tag%203.jpg" width="592" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I started off my tag by spritzing a #8 distress heavy stock tag with a combination of Speckled Egg, Salvaged Patina and Antique Linen distress spray stains and Frozen Fog distress mica spray. I dried the tag in between the layers of color. Once the tag was dry I uses a Simon Says Stamp pine bough stencil and some grit paste to add more texture to the background. I also added some crackle paste. Once both pastes were dry I scribbled some distress crayons in ground espresso and crushed olive onto an acrylic block, spritzed on some water, mixed the colors and then dabbed them onto the pastes with my finger. I then adhered my tag to a #8 Etcetera thickboard tag. Once that was dry I rubbed more of the ground espresso/crushed olive mix around the edge of the tag. <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRUHqq9OuegK119_5ibQY_7jzvzne_IhaVYQJx7bxvTJA8_7y4x1hvED5OQO3sePgOKZg6_XPxjQTgvEDN59ILFOw65iT2ZsNMr7zUZp7I3vIYLGJACNmfZuzPtuCjlOS0Vi7Cnkd5eFt-4uBD-YQHl2QnF4TnyPkqfVR0752Vw-Irvo7KGoFlzivzEIgw/s2637/spring%20tag.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2637" data-original-width="2302" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRUHqq9OuegK119_5ibQY_7jzvzne_IhaVYQJx7bxvTJA8_7y4x1hvED5OQO3sePgOKZg6_XPxjQTgvEDN59ILFOw65iT2ZsNMr7zUZp7I3vIYLGJACNmfZuzPtuCjlOS0Vi7Cnkd5eFt-4uBD-YQHl2QnF4TnyPkqfVR0752Vw-Irvo7KGoFlzivzEIgw/w558-h640/spring%20tag.jpg" width="558" /></a></div><br /><div>For the bird I used my favorite Backyard Wren die set from Memory Box. The twiggy wreath, feathers blossom stem and budding stems are from the Greetery. For the wreath I sprized heavy stock with walnut stain and Crooked Broomstick distress mica spray. I spritzed on water to move the colors around. Once the panels were dry I die cut them with the wreath die and two dies that cut twiggy branches for layering on the wreath. There is a wreath stamp that coordinates with the wreath base and I used that to stamp on some Scorched Timber distress ink. Once that was dry I adhered on the branches. The other pieces were inked with distress oxide inks in Speckled Egg, Pumice Store, Vintage Photo, Spun Sugar and Bundled Sage. I assembled everything, let them dry and then adhered them to the tag as you see. I finished off the tag with some chunky twine and a small key that I tried to grunge up with some grit paste and ground espresso distress crayon. A small pin was used to attach the key to the twine. I'm super pleased with how my tag turned out.</div><div><p><br /></p></div>Rosemaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04174508034383387053noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143024388773957806.post-56132817200516202402024-02-29T06:27:00.000-08:002024-02-29T06:27:30.027-08:00Birch Press Design Post<p> Hello! I made a card and now I'm sharing it, lol! This is for <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/02/freshly-made-sketches-624-sketch-by-kim.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a> and <a href="https://colorhuesthecolorchallenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/color-hues-81-lilac-and-mint.html">Color Hues</a>. The <a href="https://colorhuesthecolorchallenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/color-hues-81-lilac-and-mint.html">Color Hues</a> combo is lilac and mint two colors that I don't often put together, but I challenged myself to give it a try. Here's what I made.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiC9aWSYpVS3CgoGBZ9OkDzLHaT7T3DGTXvwJIlhZsHlxFjoS1KHqgG0CHrbLonfxRe92yjM2Nw0y15lrg6_y5M0HqV49T06OZHTGsaJQtcw_gzZHD_Q-iaHKPBj3O3WlAOVSlnn_g0EDHNpUzd8GUiyckS6tEtYxtNzfQvn574BbbIW9qASE8eup2P7KkC/s2510/lilac%20flower.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2510" data-original-width="2232" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiC9aWSYpVS3CgoGBZ9OkDzLHaT7T3DGTXvwJIlhZsHlxFjoS1KHqgG0CHrbLonfxRe92yjM2Nw0y15lrg6_y5M0HqV49T06OZHTGsaJQtcw_gzZHD_Q-iaHKPBj3O3WlAOVSlnn_g0EDHNpUzd8GUiyckS6tEtYxtNzfQvn574BbbIW9qASE8eup2P7KkC/w570-h640/lilac%20flower.jpg" width="570" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I used Shaded Lilac and Salvaged Patina distress oxides and ink blended the Memory Box Cottage Flower Stem. I used Waffle Flower Crafts 1+ blender brushes and tried to add some shading. You can see a little bit of it on the leaves, but my Shaded Lilac pad was really juicy and despite adding several layers of color to the center of the flower, there isn't much difference. Oh well, I tried! I did use a little bit of Antique Linen for the flower center. I have several Memory Box patterned paper pads and I found these neutral plaid that has a bit of minty color to it. I used that along with strips of light gray and white cardstocks that I embossed with my old favorite Sizzix Swiss Dot embossing folder. The sentiment is a new product from Memory Box/Open Studio called Greetings Tabs. The tabs come in black and white, circle or strip and feature either thank you sentiments or birthday sentiments. Perfect for when you just need to add a quick sentiment to a card. <div><br /></div><div>Since I did do some ink blending I'm also going to add this to the <a href="https://davebrethauer.typepad.com/outsidethebox/2024/02/memory-box-challenge-104-ink-blending.html">Memory Box February challenge </a>of ink blending. I'm also going to add this to the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-beautiful-blooms/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge</a>. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYxjWQ__t35JGun9FTn2_ryVJhhrwcrSKKjFXw58XnYPwJyrWPmXMHJA1sQNfW0eOA61wRl9Rmrpal55dp8pKu35lHPmJUGYzPW3RdttO_MdrYDap1rzYImWD_hQWoFQXqGuzs6opqzHFsl7Wp6LISwLRk709LK7_5VEPVb4fkfsGAT0jjhnmO10SMWUYT/s400/FMS%20Final%20624-001.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="286" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYxjWQ__t35JGun9FTn2_ryVJhhrwcrSKKjFXw58XnYPwJyrWPmXMHJA1sQNfW0eOA61wRl9Rmrpal55dp8pKu35lHPmJUGYzPW3RdttO_MdrYDap1rzYImWD_hQWoFQXqGuzs6opqzHFsl7Wp6LISwLRk709LK7_5VEPVb4fkfsGAT0jjhnmO10SMWUYT/s320/FMS%20Final%20624-001.jpg" width="229" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-y657iKi11tSmPeSxMTIlYg74WOEeLVTN9i0LbO8HwffZdY2TfVuvr7fNNsuJhyphenhyphenm7AT5KAxRMRQT9xvEff1rpnvqexFSQwAo6oF7z5WlVpIT08694achj2guE_9hLM1outUOZVBc0FrwVjWMADUcxY96t678P2T_hFr1BGGqVkDvYsDBFIduE1UmBcDaZ/s400/CH%20%2381%20Lilac%20and%20Mint.001.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="326" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-y657iKi11tSmPeSxMTIlYg74WOEeLVTN9i0LbO8HwffZdY2TfVuvr7fNNsuJhyphenhyphenm7AT5KAxRMRQT9xvEff1rpnvqexFSQwAo6oF7z5WlVpIT08694achj2guE_9hLM1outUOZVBc0FrwVjWMADUcxY96t678P2T_hFr1BGGqVkDvYsDBFIduE1UmBcDaZ/s320/CH%20%2381%20Lilac%20and%20Mint.001.jpeg" width="261" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgndJ6h2bx13l9jUJh43QRJSbepNRjyaT5fT9awLe-ntO7pL7R2BBuMYBhVEzuYzxQYsh4Qvgw7AOahnzbh3K1w3FOtPXymhMQ839ZSzTtQvZlA_aGG2Q6C2N5mSZaeL3c0flC-2dxTnW2O7UqzWhQKYqRmPxIrOqwshNr2T1jDlKBGG9uRxVzWTqJBzefr/s640/memory%20box%20challenge.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="629" data-original-width="640" height="315" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgndJ6h2bx13l9jUJh43QRJSbepNRjyaT5fT9awLe-ntO7pL7R2BBuMYBhVEzuYzxQYsh4Qvgw7AOahnzbh3K1w3FOtPXymhMQ839ZSzTtQvZlA_aGG2Q6C2N5mSZaeL3c0flC-2dxTnW2O7UqzWhQKYqRmPxIrOqwshNr2T1jDlKBGG9uRxVzWTqJBzefr/s320/memory%20box%20challenge.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div>That's it for me! I'm back to share a card that I made for <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/02/freshly-made-sketches-623-sketch-by.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a> and <a href="https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2024/02/color-throwdown-challenge-780.html">Color Throwdown</a>. The color combo at CTD is red, kraft and white. I challenged myself to use the colors in a sort of unconventional way and I really like the outcome. Take a look. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfjgB4H9DyurIHpRh3z5dh1wE7DiEr-0Q_Jk3lwvn2VqBzR_ixd7iyfz7a225jNgLSBVREP00Rbhrp4YfbpXXu25z3lIY4MK4CQ6WmaKq1sF5ffmvY9q-R3UZ6K0uUzqHM3K2EYGO7wKqBMWEFd8DD6IT9ge75h4a4SIsOej_ByEsu4LtmahRDFU0acQAh/s2349/red%20magnolia.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2349" data-original-width="2315" height="597" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfjgB4H9DyurIHpRh3z5dh1wE7DiEr-0Q_Jk3lwvn2VqBzR_ixd7iyfz7a225jNgLSBVREP00Rbhrp4YfbpXXu25z3lIY4MK4CQ6WmaKq1sF5ffmvY9q-R3UZ6K0uUzqHM3K2EYGO7wKqBMWEFd8DD6IT9ge75h4a4SIsOej_ByEsu4LtmahRDFU0acQAh/w588-h597/red%20magnolia.jpg" width="588" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I just love the Magnolia Blooming Bud die from Memory Box and as I was casting about for ideas as to how to use the CTD colors I thought it would be interesting and a little unconventional to color my magnolia blossom red and the leaves kraft color. I die cut all the pieces from white cardstock and then used Waffle Flowers 1+ blender brushes to add the colors to the pieces. I used Lumberjack Plaid for the magnolia blossom and Tea Dye for the leaves. I did use Gathered Twigs for the stem to provide a little contrast to the leaves. I used Memory Box white woodgrain cardstock for the main panel and the oval. Memory Box kraft woodgrain cardstock was a very close match to my ink blended leaves so I used that for the stripe element. To make the stripe stand out more I ran a line of glue along each side and then added the red twine as it closely matched the ink blended magnolia. I finished with a little sentiment from the Memory Box/Simon Says Stamp Stamptember collaboration set called Kind Flowers. I added dimension to the flower and leaves by popping up certain parts with different thicknesses of foam squares. <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg443z5T6w__MyfmF0Nd1Oi7pVMd05jQtJV1Yb7-BeASSY5L1CZDEATAJnuXy-ZXiKwyO2rgjtozP_n7tO4lj8PbTZJMZI1ajhXQNrSlrZM-AYYPwvPb6QhHeiTBZct9narYIO4OWtxgcbo5IjdLsLNzmpK7TvWBYiIBEhOhFHdFARmJ0_mUa0Mq3ptnm2e/s400/FMS%20Final%20623-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="286" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg443z5T6w__MyfmF0Nd1Oi7pVMd05jQtJV1Yb7-BeASSY5L1CZDEATAJnuXy-ZXiKwyO2rgjtozP_n7tO4lj8PbTZJMZI1ajhXQNrSlrZM-AYYPwvPb6QhHeiTBZct9narYIO4OWtxgcbo5IjdLsLNzmpK7TvWBYiIBEhOhFHdFARmJ0_mUa0Mq3ptnm2e/s320/FMS%20Final%20623-001.jpg" width="229" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9bC5NwBHiHC3A9bx7pcQrF-QkQ4Mv7FQMMCckoKFu63QPN_nL1Sa6CH1IJ7JC4Imvbbbi8A6DROF8eneMHvb_ikftPiayM9TN2QB9LqKm_MawXDUpH3oyKRgzd9mBL89DS3BQfVCwmmYog-I3NNSme2qAnCklEZP6PO5sCRhx_QBLULPd4SA3fj7rJKfJ/s400/780%20red,%20kraft,%20white%20021424.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="400" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9bC5NwBHiHC3A9bx7pcQrF-QkQ4Mv7FQMMCckoKFu63QPN_nL1Sa6CH1IJ7JC4Imvbbbi8A6DROF8eneMHvb_ikftPiayM9TN2QB9LqKm_MawXDUpH3oyKRgzd9mBL89DS3BQfVCwmmYog-I3NNSme2qAnCklEZP6PO5sCRhx_QBLULPd4SA3fj7rJKfJ/s320/780%20red,%20kraft,%20white%20021424.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!<br /><p><br /></p></div>Rosemaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04174508034383387053noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143024388773957806.post-60429600663465187552024-02-15T06:29:00.000-08:002024-02-15T06:29:21.534-08:00Birch Press Design Post<p> Hello! Popping to share a card for a couple of challenges: <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/02/freshly-made-sketches-622-sketch-by-jen.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a> and <a href="https://blog.altenew.com/altenew-february-2024-inspiration-challenge/">Altenew February challenge</a>. Love the fun, bright colors in the Altenew challenge so I had to get something made before the month was over. Take a look.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQwvSZHbhIswACV80GtWhTvEgchmIE-tB7Wb1hMCLsHCvxZK9fLYHgyGNSseZp9eC3OtZXI_Nr-oINoJTM_ws1QAqq8N_GgLq4kLrybaawE9j-g-dVNCXZHGIPlHtxn1tkZGkCs1WlkADcxtDNRj3BUnMjtJx7DzMCNamInOYPNfO7GfvQPdpN4woBrqgk/s2441/bright%20flowers%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2441" data-original-width="2353" height="571" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQwvSZHbhIswACV80GtWhTvEgchmIE-tB7Wb1hMCLsHCvxZK9fLYHgyGNSseZp9eC3OtZXI_Nr-oINoJTM_ws1QAqq8N_GgLq4kLrybaawE9j-g-dVNCXZHGIPlHtxn1tkZGkCs1WlkADcxtDNRj3BUnMjtJx7DzMCNamInOYPNfO7GfvQPdpN4woBrqgk/w550-h571/bright%20flowers%202.jpg" width="550" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I used the pretty Altenew Sketched Florals stamp and die set along with their fun Dotted Waves debossing cover die. I stamped the flowers using Pinkfresh Studio inks and then die cut with the matching dies. I used the Memory Box curved capped dotted layering dies to die cut the panel from glossy cardstock. I then debossed it with the Dotted Waves debossing cover die. The sentiments are also from the Sketched Florals set. I stamped both on vellum, applied black embossing powder and heat set. The word 'thanks' has a matching die so I used that to cut the word and a thin labels die for the subsentiment. Adhered everything to the black panel and then added it to a white die cut panel and card base. <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfOFCQKpfqlvNsKVqYB-DG3NE-cjIySqS-H5DN1tmwHrR3Aoc8ZleP5N6HtIh0xmhLs2pUZlbOcA05S3EPkDTIaR8uSs65MBQD7h3hgnd-td3CPyvKdnxQfdvW2v7YE9oo1RJli6ndf-6nNv5P6Ut6xuuTZOY32tsjD_dzph2aSFxr5oi-xdGSh8bBinIG/s1200/Inspiration-Challenge-2024-012-Option-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="665" data-original-width="1200" height="177" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfOFCQKpfqlvNsKVqYB-DG3NE-cjIySqS-H5DN1tmwHrR3Aoc8ZleP5N6HtIh0xmhLs2pUZlbOcA05S3EPkDTIaR8uSs65MBQD7h3hgnd-td3CPyvKdnxQfdvW2v7YE9oo1RJli6ndf-6nNv5P6Ut6xuuTZOY32tsjD_dzph2aSFxr5oi-xdGSh8bBinIG/s320/Inspiration-Challenge-2024-012-Option-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div><br /><p><br /></p></div>Rosemaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04174508034383387053noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143024388773957806.post-90966380252720767932024-02-04T15:03:00.000-08:002024-02-04T15:03:01.740-08:00birthday cards...<p> Hello! Took some time out from stitching and made two birthday cards. First up is a card for the following challenges: <a href="https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2024/01/color-throwdown-challenge-778.html">Color Throwdown </a>and <a href="https://seizethebirthday.blogspot.com/2024/01/seize-birthday-276-kraft-and-another.html">Seize the Birthday</a>. For Seize the Birthday I'm going with anything goes since I used kraft and two colors. I think I will also add this one to the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-anything-goes-113/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge</a> of anything goes. Take a look.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinJeP_so8TB79VjevraLItmnBCGwxkOGD_4wB8q_-fqV2VJrHnbDdEySpEcFW3VXDYL8Q6dbCLgz5KdLzO2Z3FuXVYm45x_LfLOnd1eY3l7uCyXTkcReiGWxT40sb_qUh6WkmiqeRPw5SgYiN20oHc3R4deHsPIU6uBTn5VQn2pKsOSQ4CnIwAGxE-P3nZ/s2366/blue%20poppies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2366" data-original-width="2316" height="601" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinJeP_so8TB79VjevraLItmnBCGwxkOGD_4wB8q_-fqV2VJrHnbDdEySpEcFW3VXDYL8Q6dbCLgz5KdLzO2Z3FuXVYm45x_LfLOnd1eY3l7uCyXTkcReiGWxT40sb_qUh6WkmiqeRPw5SgYiN20oHc3R4deHsPIU6uBTn5VQn2pKsOSQ4CnIwAGxE-P3nZ/w588-h601/blue%20poppies.jpg" width="588" /></a></div><div><br /></div>For this card I did a little inkblending on patterned paper. In her most recent video Jennifer McGuire did inkblending on patterned paper. Something that is super simple to do and creates a pretty look. I used patterned paper from the Memory Box Anemone Plaid 6x6 pad and inks from Hero Arts. I kept the background very simple. I die cut a circle using the largest die from the PoppyStamps Simple Rings die set. This set cuts a circle and a very thin border ring around the circle. This allowed me to use the kraft ring around the white circle. So that the kraft circle didn't go to waste I glued it behind white one to give the circle a little bit of height. Then I added the kraft ring. The sentiment is from Memory Box and was also die cut from white and kraft. I finished the card with tiny light blue gems as the dot for the "i" and on the little stamens on the flowers. <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuqMsrhyffwhuKPFFuPSVzIRSJymz7yAPuGZ5odFmXdX4Mb3vt8DBUsunchz5XLuCgixCn7pkfC-olqMFcZlDM2C9Qc7d2a51alCrOOFqDWL4VPTDQjvf_sY8mn1LE7Jm7bxJQc9Wpwt_QNMQEhzg8AAbIe1xC4ZK9cSv44GoRxI3c8u4vchdCv6yq1TKj/s400/778%20Green,%20Blue,%20Kraft%20013124.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="400" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuqMsrhyffwhuKPFFuPSVzIRSJymz7yAPuGZ5odFmXdX4Mb3vt8DBUsunchz5XLuCgixCn7pkfC-olqMFcZlDM2C9Qc7d2a51alCrOOFqDWL4VPTDQjvf_sY8mn1LE7Jm7bxJQc9Wpwt_QNMQEhzg8AAbIe1xC4ZK9cSv44GoRxI3c8u4vchdCv6yq1TKj/s320/778%20Green,%20Blue,%20Kraft%20013124.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwxcJFfY0wQ3K4UeyppANhWaRVP7aAjxswOmUPV33XpHSIoEk3DuI1iCTyrXMXVhwvuYmUGmS_vnjNKIIA08yH5BAzB3wbbQelix1Ebw2Q0abQy_w6pFiixs2AKL9Ws1rmR1DK_75LXjhNsK6HuD5JgwsqwPnTUpsWtWlwc9PM2QRoypNVzSOFD9NG2NiA/s300/STB-AnythingGoes.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="300" data-original-width="300" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwxcJFfY0wQ3K4UeyppANhWaRVP7aAjxswOmUPV33XpHSIoEk3DuI1iCTyrXMXVhwvuYmUGmS_vnjNKIIA08yH5BAzB3wbbQelix1Ebw2Q0abQy_w6pFiixs2AKL9Ws1rmR1DK_75LXjhNsK6HuD5JgwsqwPnTUpsWtWlwc9PM2QRoypNVzSOFD9NG2NiA/s1600/STB-AnythingGoes.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><br /><div><br /><p>My next card is heading to<a href="https://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/just-us-girls-712-color-week.html"> Just Us Girls</a> and <a href="https://colorhuesthecolorchallenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/color-hues-80-red-and-pink.html">Color Hues</a> challenges. I hadn't put it away because I really wanted to use it. I thought it perfect for the challenges. The die is all one piece so I die cut it from red, pink and white cardstock. As I was putting the bird together I noticed that my bird is not facing in the same direction as the bird on the packaging. The bird on the packaging faces to the right and mine faces to the left. Obviously some kind of mistake occurred with my die, but I don't mind! I used a little branch die from another Poppystamps die set and the same Simple Rings dies. The ring dies were still out so why not use them? I stamped the sentiment from a Spellbinders stamp set on the white arched cardstock piece and then added the circle, branch and bird. This piece was popped up with thin foam squares on a light gray cardstock rectangle and then added to the white cardstock base. Another clean and simple design!</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDk9rTc91Ml2ChaPctGDHc7XSCJFqlu-iI-wF8AfUBv0Ztdw7gkDKKJ7B34y5qWXUOwYhkQGQjDRmwLA1cydwKBJ55pSsHkLrmVgKjDzmuAovy7qs9We1LdeJ062n3WzALSGgOTQ-ofKTbcLArGJKoNQsE00IooQHHvOraVGGtsyHaP_a2b5H8x9XUen-5/s320/ColorWeek712.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="250" data-original-width="320" height="250" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDk9rTc91Ml2ChaPctGDHc7XSCJFqlu-iI-wF8AfUBv0Ztdw7gkDKKJ7B34y5qWXUOwYhkQGQjDRmwLA1cydwKBJ55pSsHkLrmVgKjDzmuAovy7qs9We1LdeJ062n3WzALSGgOTQ-ofKTbcLArGJKoNQsE00IooQHHvOraVGGtsyHaP_a2b5H8x9XUen-5/s1600/ColorWeek712.png" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeNRzod98ecqbT6KQOHdcvOS7xvqdxNLIlkNNg6LUr3HRyWCav19O7gdL2I-ePb2FNxKm3u5mo1mz67imhBB9lp9hzPAj7u4_9zpDygGqWj_IcSvkuG0EYQNz7SJTMmJo4hhtkUo3-Qf6lKA0J1Hcrx1oF7BjA0PIOR5kF8h-dTKngMTF97Ws1gruYgxi5/s400/%23TCH80.001.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="326" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeNRzod98ecqbT6KQOHdcvOS7xvqdxNLIlkNNg6LUr3HRyWCav19O7gdL2I-ePb2FNxKm3u5mo1mz67imhBB9lp9hzPAj7u4_9zpDygGqWj_IcSvkuG0EYQNz7SJTMmJo4hhtkUo3-Qf6lKA0J1Hcrx1oF7BjA0PIOR5kF8h-dTKngMTF97Ws1gruYgxi5/s320/%23TCH80.001.jpeg" width="261" /></a></div>That's it for me. Popping in to share a card that I made for the current<a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/01/freshly-made-sketches-620-sketch-by.html"> Freshly Made Sketches challenge</a>. I have something that I'm working on, but took a little time out to make a quick card using bits and pieces from the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Love Stories suite of products. Take a look.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlbbOctnu4yZ8H7hyphenhyphenm5KyyDFtZ-fevY6J_kuzlDgTemKdqIHK5_Y41O-paYWM1pJITXlVP5oCT_P5fI1LJvTXMkNVAqo3Wq3ZOVxFbSKIskau7FIyW4_ADSJXGJZ-QsS4uSO1mutZGvDCBtd_k_d2-DDX75ghIhNs4GKfMx6EeZmy-rLbFgbs1vvS2EnHL/s2310/valentine%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2310" data-original-width="2192" height="612" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlbbOctnu4yZ8H7hyphenhyphenm5KyyDFtZ-fevY6J_kuzlDgTemKdqIHK5_Y41O-paYWM1pJITXlVP5oCT_P5fI1LJvTXMkNVAqo3Wq3ZOVxFbSKIskau7FIyW4_ADSJXGJZ-QsS4uSO1mutZGvDCBtd_k_d2-DDX75ghIhNs4GKfMx6EeZmy-rLbFgbs1vvS2EnHL/w581-h612/valentine%202.jpg" width="581" /></a></div><div><br /></div>The current card kit from Simon Says Stamp features patterned paper and ephemera from this line from Simple Stories and I just fell in love (ha ha!) with it. So I ordered the 6x8 patterned paper pad and both packs of ephemera. I used ephemera pieces from both packs along with the patterned paper. Who doesn't love polka dots! Putting the card together was quick and easy. I added some Hero Arts Lacquer in clear sparkle to the hearts. It is rather thick and so ended up causing one heart to curl up a bit and the lacquer on the other two hearts to crack. I'm okay with it though as it add a little texture and character, I think.<div><br /></div><div> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN4NNthy2NAXtdwbW4_FHP7MjS1qWlY1dvPjrTxVWVlIdPO4v8HFxxSuOLToKbeAyyGHVgGmOGpJv5FBu-Hq3o2jO9VIsdCIlNnSrOJkvR1EjrfG7IztlMIpJrgFG_FfWKV9D3xy5bZsdOCLLJzJ7mBW-x_ZlkR0s4ez9nAHNkBTNsiimOV517MiCJbDsp/s400/FMS%20Final%20620-001%20(1).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="286" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN4NNthy2NAXtdwbW4_FHP7MjS1qWlY1dvPjrTxVWVlIdPO4v8HFxxSuOLToKbeAyyGHVgGmOGpJv5FBu-Hq3o2jO9VIsdCIlNnSrOJkvR1EjrfG7IztlMIpJrgFG_FfWKV9D3xy5bZsdOCLLJzJ7mBW-x_ZlkR0s4ez9nAHNkBTNsiimOV517MiCJbDsp/s320/FMS%20Final%20620-001%20(1).jpg" width="229" /></a></div>That's it for me. I'm popping to share two cards that I made for a few challenges. First up is a card that I made for <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/01/freshly-made-sketches-619-sketch-by-judy.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a> and <a href="https://colorhuesthecolorchallenge.blogspot.com/2024/01/color-hues-79-copper-and-green.html">Color Hues</a>. Couldn't pass up that pretty combo of green and copper and my in real life friend,<a href="https://ggnursecreations.blogspot.com/"> Greta</a>, is guest designer this go round. Just had to participate!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrwofuIe1C3oqVR3MnFiswekNEVxkqyaz74V9gtLC6zy5XFEVmM9XQx66iY0ptEXvN7D_gEuByTzo-_WBYd8tJCxjNWVJJ4iJVfkhBRY7NFdCmjq_NPQqa0CYM2g6SMR61Y5SO6f5JkvqbPthNd-vlZKI1Nb_K40w9vu4Day7IhOYaVaFZGRIefPCpMf3x/s2319/warm%20wishes%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2319" data-original-width="2246" height="603" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrwofuIe1C3oqVR3MnFiswekNEVxkqyaz74V9gtLC6zy5XFEVmM9XQx66iY0ptEXvN7D_gEuByTzo-_WBYd8tJCxjNWVJJ4iJVfkhBRY7NFdCmjq_NPQqa0CYM2g6SMR61Y5SO6f5JkvqbPthNd-vlZKI1Nb_K40w9vu4Day7IhOYaVaFZGRIefPCpMf3x/w584-h603/warm%20wishes%202.jpg" width="584" /></a></div><div><br /></div>Before Christmas I was able to purchase a couple of die sets from Simon Says Stamp with a winter/Christmas sort of theme to them. I wanted to use them and thought the Color Hues combo was the perfect opportunity. I started by inking up some cardstock with Rustic Wilderness distress oxide ink. I thought I had just the regular distress ink in Rustic Wilderness, but I don't. Have to remedy that situation, lol! I die cut the holly branch from that. I then used Rustic Wilderness distress spray stain and Tree Lot distress mica spray to color some white distress heavy stock. As that panel was drying I dipped the holly leaves in the little puddles of ink in my spray box to give a mica shine to the leaves. The pine branches were die cut from the panel I created with the sprays once it was dry. I used some copper glitter cardstock to die cut the berries and the strip. I die cut the squares and the main panel from white woodgrain cardstock and layered them on a kraft cardstock base. I had some fine copper thread that I used to create the messy loop of thread securing it with glue. Then I layered on the holly branch and pine. The sentiment was stamped in black ink, die cut with a label die and adhered with foam squares. <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOUnQ1druoXs6Nq734r3Xt90UfDuHTzyJXe_kPxHHbos4zXfkbtIZHVMtJ40g8llkEdFcrGP3ES_Df-L1PJ5xnm_Q0Fb7AfqkTpuxdmY60qWoM-CI5-1uulTP_JLMsiNOaawT44dDMFqHIu32mOqOSfJHeJYLQ2Y_AuyLzuFy-M5pPf1GLqXHziQp7obsp/s400/CH%20%2379%20Copper%20and%20Green%20Anim..gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="326" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOUnQ1druoXs6Nq734r3Xt90UfDuHTzyJXe_kPxHHbos4zXfkbtIZHVMtJ40g8llkEdFcrGP3ES_Df-L1PJ5xnm_Q0Fb7AfqkTpuxdmY60qWoM-CI5-1uulTP_JLMsiNOaawT44dDMFqHIu32mOqOSfJHeJYLQ2Y_AuyLzuFy-M5pPf1GLqXHziQp7obsp/s320/CH%20%2379%20Copper%20and%20Green%20Anim..gif" width="261" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvSiHf5zqq6tvxPlbtTPzlkqAOgkHweQN59fxfunLiUTYvkuUamkJJiOYpDj05xkJUY52k4wMDKi5ErYy4Aw_d2SvSg9rJZ4IZJG3_GZsnniaAqeG6qrGfdEeJq10jthDYfPGRm5-8QhWWfMEq2L_O7mFupUd6J_0-RGagJHtrKtZcys0BVgfBjqUf3vr_/s400/FMS%20Final%20619-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="286" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvSiHf5zqq6tvxPlbtTPzlkqAOgkHweQN59fxfunLiUTYvkuUamkJJiOYpDj05xkJUY52k4wMDKi5ErYy4Aw_d2SvSg9rJZ4IZJG3_GZsnniaAqeG6qrGfdEeJq10jthDYfPGRm5-8QhWWfMEq2L_O7mFupUd6J_0-RGagJHtrKtZcys0BVgfBjqUf3vr_/s320/FMS%20Final%20619-001.jpg" width="229" /></a></div><br /><div><br /><p>My next card is super simple. I had been trying to think of something to make with recently purchased dies, but it just wasn't happening. I almost threw in the towel on this one, but then decided to just do some simple stamping. I used a tried and true favorite (and very old) Stampin Up! set called Kinda Eclectic. I stamped all the images using the inks from the<a href="https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2024/01/color-throwdown-challenge-776.html"> CTD combo</a> and then finished with the sentiment in gray and three clear sequins. Hope you are warm where you live. It is just a little too cold here in Western Washington (although not as cold as Iowa!) for me. We have temperatures in the mid-teens right now. Thankfully it is supposed to start warming back up in the next day or so. I guess we are being punished for our crazy warm December, lol! Anyway, to keep warm I made a card for the <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/01/freshly-made-sketches-618-sketch-by.html">Freshly Made Sketches challenge</a> and it works for the<a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-cute-critters/"> Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of cute critters</a>. I think my little bird is super cute!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS9XHzOKr-A2qpiBfwgKbveWFcFLiR7n5l5ji9gxTOJvgsSITUV7_zLC2BlT3KUytlSJT4e8iW-GW0xRJjxv1xNf7ER5FlGKYdMoI0AkcNs3lNi-9nq80nGAkrtHPCil8j76v40udUwhEZKVhoeshMthjU5aQRknHhyphenhyphenFpbfuEnlof5Y8Z1tx75LV2p3j7R/s2282/little%20bird.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2282" data-original-width="2170" height="612" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS9XHzOKr-A2qpiBfwgKbveWFcFLiR7n5l5ji9gxTOJvgsSITUV7_zLC2BlT3KUytlSJT4e8iW-GW0xRJjxv1xNf7ER5FlGKYdMoI0AkcNs3lNi-9nq80nGAkrtHPCil8j76v40udUwhEZKVhoeshMthjU5aQRknHhyphenhyphenFpbfuEnlof5Y8Z1tx75LV2p3j7R/w582-h612/little%20bird.jpg" width="582" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I did some direct to paper inking to create the colors I wanted for the little twigs my bird is perched on. The twigs die set is the Budding Twigs Contour Layers from Birch Press Design and the bird is called Perched Reed Bird from Memory Box (I don't think it is still available from MB, though). It is one of my favorite dies! I used a grey/brown ink from Hero Arts for the branch portion of each twig and then Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry distress inks for the other layers. I used my Waffle Flower Shader 0+ blending brushes to add the red and brown inks to my little bird. I used Pinkfresh Studio inks for the bird. I layed out where I wanted the twigs per the FMS layout and then added a little bit of blue/gray ink to the background. This time I used a very old MFT ink that I have. I adhered one twig to my panel then laid the rest of the twigs on the panel to get sentiment placement. I stamped the happy sentiment directly on the panel. The rest of the twigs and bird were added. I finished with the stamped and die cut sentiment. The sentiment comes from a Simon Says Stamp set called Garden Fresh.<div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcg4rG9nRAe6zt6lUYT_jnoIXKJ3hrmTkWSam0Q5coohKd11rJESusttAjcQmagLRbuBZS5QHGaei4Pzs2Ks4mhkT5b-EXeYMmLt9d08HqLvRvcUa9arAaA2vJ4fAC1jUHZztls2dflaQdQoUDPLEsf3AXyLqepyTJcVsw-mlGCR-QWyDKacgxnYX7T8z6/s400/FMS%20Final%20618-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="286" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcg4rG9nRAe6zt6lUYT_jnoIXKJ3hrmTkWSam0Q5coohKd11rJESusttAjcQmagLRbuBZS5QHGaei4Pzs2Ks4mhkT5b-EXeYMmLt9d08HqLvRvcUa9arAaA2vJ4fAC1jUHZztls2dflaQdQoUDPLEsf3AXyLqepyTJcVsw-mlGCR-QWyDKacgxnYX7T8z6/s320/FMS%20Final%20618-001.jpg" width="229" /></a></div>Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!<br /><p><br /></p></div>Rosemaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04174508034383387053noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143024388773957806.post-18191382468481465002024-01-11T10:00:00.000-08:002024-01-11T10:00:00.150-08:00Simon Says Stamp Sweetheart Release!<p> (<a href="https://blog.birchpressdesign.com/2024/01/11/something-old-something-new-by-rosemary-dennis/">See my Birch Press Design post here</a>)</p><p>Hello everyone! I'm popping in today to share three cards that I made with the <a href="https://shrsl.com/4dh87">Hello Animals stamp set</a> from the new <a href="https://shrsl.com/4dh84 ">Simon Says Stamp Sweetheart release</a> that is available right now on the <a href="https://shrsl.com/4dh84 ">Simon Says Stamp website</a>. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8IFHiIQa0Qa9FIzxF-HJulkTq3dG6Wi55bdSx1A6z1SQCrNfFKuhTuMInXkDdGE4B8opRRXocCqy1mHa3kB7vpZzW43FyOJkbQzCXPgDPYYYf92OsEHF_uDiJu45iMCITe8CR82pAiWq0Bpo6tjLR5wS0sABH-gaF0b4qUp7_1zCZxexIUGJ_N_2q-Gtd/s2471/hello%20animals%201.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2471" data-original-width="2306" height="615" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8IFHiIQa0Qa9FIzxF-HJulkTq3dG6Wi55bdSx1A6z1SQCrNfFKuhTuMInXkDdGE4B8opRRXocCqy1mHa3kB7vpZzW43FyOJkbQzCXPgDPYYYf92OsEHF_uDiJu45iMCITe8CR82pAiWq0Bpo6tjLR5wS0sABH-gaF0b4qUp7_1zCZxexIUGJ_N_2q-Gtd/w575-h615/hello%20animals%201.jpg" width="575" /></a></div><div><br /></div>This<a href="https://shrsl.com/4dh87"> stamp set</a> is perfect for the little kiddos in your life or for anyone who likes cute animal images! When I created this first card I had my great niece in mind. She will turn two in February and she has several four legged "siblings". I stamped the puppy dog image on watercolor paper with VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne ink and then watercolored with my Jane Davenport watercolors. I stamped the large happy birthday sentiment underneath with a fun red ink. The little party hat was also watercolored and then trimmed out when it was dry. I die cut the stamped panel, adhered it to a cardbase and then added the little party hat with foam squares. I'm going to add this to the <a href="https://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/2024/01/pp671-theme-challenge-from-ann.html">Paper Players challenge of celebrations</a>. <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7nKlj51pVuXGAWCi9bcXLUTigH10J-hH42QBaVXiiMnEQDD_km6GMRauGGZB4ncLMBywUfq-JnpipK8-V0gjRO0Kx8wPWjmHRmlOg3CPc4vG_pnYkMUN778SAoFwE3z7tqAHc7AdKsmrkLCrFxBlig_15uGrq1q1KX8rPSEuDQZU0QHRgz-mLut5tbdbh/s2489/hello%20animals%206.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2180" data-original-width="2489" height="510" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7nKlj51pVuXGAWCi9bcXLUTigH10J-hH42QBaVXiiMnEQDD_km6GMRauGGZB4ncLMBywUfq-JnpipK8-V0gjRO0Kx8wPWjmHRmlOg3CPc4vG_pnYkMUN778SAoFwE3z7tqAHc7AdKsmrkLCrFxBlig_15uGrq1q1KX8rPSEuDQZU0QHRgz-mLut5tbdbh/w584-h510/hello%20animals%206.jpg" width="584" /></a></div><br /><div>This card was inspired by a friend who loves orange and white kitties. She recently lost her sweet kitty, Bonita, and even though I already sent her a card I think I will be sending her this one. I stamped the kitty four times with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored very simply with Copic markers. I die cut the panel and adhered it to a card base. I stamped the sentiment on vellum with a cream colored embossing powder and then die cut it with a smaller rectangle die. The vellum panel was attached using rolled up glue dot placed behind the letters. </div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_6VRFB3PwOPqCCu_qxsrCIz01JanQMpfDaR3maL5fr6CBMfQXPaBLW83y1NWs4Caxbqsq0sJEopG0MN2IwkOmBFOteQ3DzTAeFjh2-y8F-DhE02c-AL-A9C5NXhculz4Os-Cxx-mJz3xLg3fvdEQwKZpUL2W8GfxSuPDMe-Fgp8do1Pxkx0B2jRH0dFsR/s2296/hello%20animals%203.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2296" data-original-width="2210" height="617" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_6VRFB3PwOPqCCu_qxsrCIz01JanQMpfDaR3maL5fr6CBMfQXPaBLW83y1NWs4Caxbqsq0sJEopG0MN2IwkOmBFOteQ3DzTAeFjh2-y8F-DhE02c-AL-A9C5NXhculz4Os-Cxx-mJz3xLg3fvdEQwKZpUL2W8GfxSuPDMe-Fgp8do1Pxkx0B2jRH0dFsR/w594-h617/hello%20animals%203.jpg" width="594" /></a></div><br /><div>This last card is just like the first card except that I colored the bunny image using Copic markers. I stamped the glasses and the bow and colored them with Copics. I cut out the center of the glasses so you can see her eyes. I added some Crystal Lacquer to the glasses and bow. I really love how this card turned out! The glasses just crack me up! I'm adding this one to the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-cute-critters/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of cute critters</a>.</div><div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL3vl9BHb-ggRM-M6Ums1I51wvQTm2b6TwC1jj7ucfynqnU49Gxmu0NjPOHh_JklE73FBzDAUzJvJw23HWxSckdVWo15jf0bbxOqD0A2UyI-TVqp6-k2-jRvTG03RqvAoOsh5CZ28NIJqvT7y5OjRBCgCkdu-1Z7dsCGcHUMAzZ1xLFCq1-uTVUffXV-DB/s320/pp671.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="320" data-original-width="301" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL3vl9BHb-ggRM-M6Ums1I51wvQTm2b6TwC1jj7ucfynqnU49Gxmu0NjPOHh_JklE73FBzDAUzJvJw23HWxSckdVWo15jf0bbxOqD0A2UyI-TVqp6-k2-jRvTG03RqvAoOsh5CZ28NIJqvT7y5OjRBCgCkdu-1Z7dsCGcHUMAzZ1xLFCq1-uTVUffXV-DB/s1600/pp671.png" width="301" /></a></div><div><br /></div>Make sure you head over to the <a href="https://shrsl.com/4dh84 ">Simon Says Stamp store</a> to check out the entire release. I'm back with another card. What???!! Two cards in two days! Haven't done that in a long time, lol! Anyway, I have a card today for several challenges: <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/01/freshly-made-sketches-617-sketch-by.html">Freshly Made Sketches (layout)</a>,<a href="https://timeoutchallenges.blogspot.com/2024/01/challenge-254-new-introducing-new.html"> Time Out (theme of new)</a>, <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-something-new-8/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge (something new)</a> and<a href="https://colorhuesthecolorchallenge.blogspot.com/2024/01/color-hues-78-light-blue-and-navy.html"> Color Hues</a>. My in real life friend, <a href="https://ggnursecreations.blogspot.com/2024/01/happy-2024.html">Greta</a>, is now a member of the Time Out design team so I just had to play along with their challenge. Here is what I made.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5Oaog18A-CwvgFzJ6FuWkeRq65hHSP1-boJYwwFGPTzuNQOIe9QBfO3bjHcToKIchrea02EfGHZ7X9yU0y-U2BGGjqvfacPAcfvqyzYVY8omW-TBYSQpUz2lmox7Py3uKCETIkstiiY3SsLTBVZxKw3QzM-tB2N6ylOMyeFGNdjGLdba16qGS0rb91Rhm/s2237/snowflake%20tags.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1898" data-original-width="2237" height="489" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5Oaog18A-CwvgFzJ6FuWkeRq65hHSP1-boJYwwFGPTzuNQOIe9QBfO3bjHcToKIchrea02EfGHZ7X9yU0y-U2BGGjqvfacPAcfvqyzYVY8omW-TBYSQpUz2lmox7Py3uKCETIkstiiY3SsLTBVZxKw3QzM-tB2N6ylOMyeFGNdjGLdba16qGS0rb91Rhm/w575-h489/snowflake%20tags.jpg" width="575" /></a></div><div><br /></div>The Color Hues challenge is to use light blue and dark blue. Couldn't pass that one up and I really like the sketch at FMS so I decided to put them together. My new item is the cute little tag that I placed my Birch Press Design Felicity Snowflakes on. It came in a Simon Says Stamp card kit that I purchased in the fall and had never used. After die cutting the tags and the snowflakes I adhered everything together and then added the white twine to each tag. I decided to have the center tag sport a bow instead of the way I did the other two. Thought it looked cute. Then I had to find a sentiment that would work with the small tags. I hunted through my supplies and finally found this cute little sentiment set from My Favorite Things called Snowglobe Sentiments. The size of the sentiment was perfect for the size of the tag. I stamped it using a dark blue ink on the same light blue cardstock I used for the tags. I adhered everything to a white cardstock panel and then added light blue gems to the center of the snowflakes and to the sentiment strip.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWuuMahgcfDlxZEVzda7eF23XnEtxp-uiv1opmrVZ_f5o_kN0fBi60EFUWeI74EEXtIesFOCtPocQBN1tviSo1ShQ6Ci2-CsT8RrxmrdP02nzb9Yp4CAsgp8TDo_mXsf6pXkdcNNU50L3smx5r1l_ZqgLbJmwjou4pLiMHvGbudMMWDorqipXP3a3Hn8-9/s400/FMS%20Final%20617-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="286" data-original-width="400" height="229" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWuuMahgcfDlxZEVzda7eF23XnEtxp-uiv1opmrVZ_f5o_kN0fBi60EFUWeI74EEXtIesFOCtPocQBN1tviSo1ShQ6Ci2-CsT8RrxmrdP02nzb9Yp4CAsgp8TDo_mXsf6pXkdcNNU50L3smx5r1l_ZqgLbJmwjou4pLiMHvGbudMMWDorqipXP3a3Hn8-9/s320/FMS%20Final%20617-001.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNJXGL1JsepHXIrxhXXgwQBZq9gAM-iuSdQ65PKs0FN2KhhrPe3NJCaByK2kJrqviJlXFrGRwKOmrfFdoDeA1KoGsokmgAfv36J5doTmsJoqmFj41bKMCfy_-tSwZmp78ZYWJ4CvWrYYGIYbpTddIQluYrFd6tznwpbR9II6zsbxaxfmmP7nh15ci1SPuX/s400/CH%20%2378%20Light%20Blue%20and%20Navy%20Anim..gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="326" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNJXGL1JsepHXIrxhXXgwQBZq9gAM-iuSdQ65PKs0FN2KhhrPe3NJCaByK2kJrqviJlXFrGRwKOmrfFdoDeA1KoGsokmgAfv36J5doTmsJoqmFj41bKMCfy_-tSwZmp78ZYWJ4CvWrYYGIYbpTddIQluYrFd6tznwpbR9II6zsbxaxfmmP7nh15ci1SPuX/s320/CH%20%2378%20Light%20Blue%20and%20Navy%20Anim..gif" width="261" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7L40bBswA_-DNNY2NDzXZF39HcMabZl7W2hyphenhyphenY_LR1vvDMDrTYL3fAbFWdPLVkzbXHDErJ9Gu11sK_gFDQu72PbXz8yG-IVUL8VunjOPMmsJ3fOzrhEiCBrxTZZ_8iCzRlneg4VhHsCV6PIsCky4Bjl1Xa3MNJEUUjBlCuxc2NXbXVhkiP1pVzCWceTdRT/s320/254.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="320" data-original-width="320" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7L40bBswA_-DNNY2NDzXZF39HcMabZl7W2hyphenhyphenY_LR1vvDMDrTYL3fAbFWdPLVkzbXHDErJ9Gu11sK_gFDQu72PbXz8yG-IVUL8VunjOPMmsJ3fOzrhEiCBrxTZZ_8iCzRlneg4VhHsCV6PIsCky4Bjl1Xa3MNJEUUjBlCuxc2NXbXVhkiP1pVzCWceTdRT/s1600/254.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p>Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!</p>Rosemaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04174508034383387053noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143024388773957806.post-80259629800298676202024-01-03T16:14:00.000-08:002024-01-03T16:14:22.876-08:00Happy New Year!<p> Happy new year, everyone! Can't believe it is 2024! Where did 2023 go, lol?! I spent the end of 2023 doing a lot of cross stitching and not a lot of cardmaking. Kinda lost my mojo for card making, but I'm trying to get it back now as I have several projects that I need to complete in the coming days. To help me out I decided to use the Simon Say Stamp Instagram challenge of white on white and a couple of new to me products from Poppystamps and Memory Box. Take a look at what I made.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhT58uJNuNUutf27GadKrgBhKNi-Z_YGFvdCOQpFY_D7Kges_u1TOBpF-eZ-YQ2FJYsaCkKjq_InVTy2EGVsnfbEtOXlAUXJd_zY-IXmLXii7wzCN7Kz5QoSiM6QOMu4Qjy4C6qOAPMW3MbPtalJS1nID0Re-WqnnzXNXnIXbgPD3nfh5GGa797eapr0jO3/s2579/Snowman%20Sparkle.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2579" data-original-width="2427" height="607" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhT58uJNuNUutf27GadKrgBhKNi-Z_YGFvdCOQpFY_D7Kges_u1TOBpF-eZ-YQ2FJYsaCkKjq_InVTy2EGVsnfbEtOXlAUXJd_zY-IXmLXii7wzCN7Kz5QoSiM6QOMu4Qjy4C6qOAPMW3MbPtalJS1nID0Re-WqnnzXNXnIXbgPD3nfh5GGa797eapr0jO3/w571-h607/Snowman%20Sparkle.jpg" width="571" /></a></div><div><br /></div>Poppystamps had an after Christmas sale and so I decided to take advantage of it. One of the items I purchased the beautiful Scandinavian Snowflake Plate. I die cut that from Memory Box glitter cardstock in a lovely off white and adhered it to my card base. In my package from Poppystamp I received three free gifts and one of them was this fun Oval Snowman Collage die. I die cut him from white cardstock and his hat and scarf from the off white glitter cardstock. The sentiment is from a lovely Simon Says Stamp set called Snow Love that I got as a free gift. Don't you just love free? I do, lol! I stamped the sentiment in black down in the corner. I finished with a few white gems from Spellbinders. I'm going to add this card to the <a href="https://poppystamps.typepad.com/poppystamps/2024/01/psc112-sparkling-new-year.html">January Poppystamps challenge</a> of sparkle and to the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-something-new-8/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge</a> of something new as the dies and stamp set are new to me!<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaCvC0bnR4skRelzLiVHAd7V5Q7B8AFuJyz2gXIHB5EpXhobSez8T_95W7W-Xq1jweqOnWYmgMJsv2-IsEddrXlL6T1p6AuJoV9SFDoXgJ0IiKGmFChlwxDfB99pKbz7XoaSKEgSGJ172nZsTYt2W5g4AHHF74bXrI5DqiNJPsWUYn2pqZOECpfKlQqhVZ/s320/poppy%20challenge.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="303" data-original-width="320" height="303" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaCvC0bnR4skRelzLiVHAd7V5Q7B8AFuJyz2gXIHB5EpXhobSez8T_95W7W-Xq1jweqOnWYmgMJsv2-IsEddrXlL6T1p6AuJoV9SFDoXgJ0IiKGmFChlwxDfB99pKbz7XoaSKEgSGJ172nZsTYt2W5g4AHHF74bXrI5DqiNJPsWUYn2pqZOECpfKlQqhVZ/s1600/poppy%20challenge.png" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div>Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!<br /><p><br /></p></div>Rosemaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04174508034383387053noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143024388773957806.post-6930916043702745002023-12-28T06:32:00.000-08:002023-12-28T06:32:28.249-08:00Birch Press Design Post<p> Hello! Popping in with a card for a few challenges, <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2023/12/freshly-made-sketches-616-sketch-by-amy.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a>, <a href="https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2023/12/color-throwdown-challenge-773.html">Color Throwdown</a> and <a href="https://www.pinkfreshstudio.com/blogs/card-making-challenges/december-2023-challenge">Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge</a>. For the PFS challenge I went with the theme of a Christmas/holiday card. Take a look at what I made:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglaZAgYUJPvJQSuUy0T1LtuJB8yMMaE7FEGX1Ft8xSdzfm9oSpGb2QSz3siC5GMU7GrKIfvOhHfb-iAyXKlWgO9jroc3nfLMXCQKVmrQ7rryoYBbMcx0KBGzoQGANw4QN45EdMzhCfGwnbR6XKdRtvB0UZtiFeeQekq3cMz9N-jJ4rSrrPnmHO7RpJ9T-O/s2374/jewel%20snowflake%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2296" data-original-width="2374" height="564" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglaZAgYUJPvJQSuUy0T1LtuJB8yMMaE7FEGX1Ft8xSdzfm9oSpGb2QSz3siC5GMU7GrKIfvOhHfb-iAyXKlWgO9jroc3nfLMXCQKVmrQ7rryoYBbMcx0KBGzoQGANw4QN45EdMzhCfGwnbR6XKdRtvB0UZtiFeeQekq3cMz9N-jJ4rSrrPnmHO7RpJ9T-O/w583-h564/jewel%20snowflake%202.jpg" width="583" /></a></div><div><br /></div>A few months ago Pinkfresh Studio had a Christmas/holiday release and they introduced the beautiful Folk Snowflake stamp, stencil and die set of products. I love a good snowflake and had to get this one. I had been waiting for the right situation to come along to make something with this set and the color combo from <a href="https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2023/12/color-throwdown-challenge-773.html">CTD </a>is what set everything in motion. I just love the beautiful jewel tone colors in the combo and it worked out perfectly that there were three colors (plus gold) and three layers to the snowflake. I just love the snowflake in those bold colors. I stenciled the snowflake first using PFS inks in Royal Kiss, Olive and Sapphire, stamped it with the outline stamp and then die cut it. I had previously die cut the gold rectangle using the PFS Folk Rectangle dies set. I layered that on a white panel and then used the smaller scalloped rectangle die for the piece I layered the snowflake on. To make the scalloped rectangle and the snowflake substantial I adhered several layers behind each before adhering them to the panel. I finished with one gold glitter embellishment to the center of the snowflake and the greeting that I had hot foiled in black a long time ago! <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOnKYmezj4u2PNaxK8zMGG1QjUaB894r9RirKbYdebw6I-nS5lfFyjz0B2tD9Ofn05S8uk-XhWktGwCp9RywpkwJq4qC5BN4fm5gmrGYR5_LDqw7FHa36H99wbG2DNLNdwiQmXjqJncpinwZzWBjBK11ssdRwgqfom4Kc5Nk7RI_2fjJyXuXC6QAkRBs8E/s1080/MonthlyChallenge-Dec23.webp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOnKYmezj4u2PNaxK8zMGG1QjUaB894r9RirKbYdebw6I-nS5lfFyjz0B2tD9Ofn05S8uk-XhWktGwCp9RywpkwJq4qC5BN4fm5gmrGYR5_LDqw7FHa36H99wbG2DNLNdwiQmXjqJncpinwZzWBjBK11ssdRwgqfom4Kc5Nk7RI_2fjJyXuXC6QAkRBs8E/s320/MonthlyChallenge-Dec23.webp" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div><br /><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzLNbDY4WMjIDfVzHddwCIUV9JZA1Snd72jKZh8pucIaDB1gysDMAiTu1Nn2-BeTeJ6WBsj3nhDKhKVX_xIZ269n1VkTDI9VS-XeoKsvK4IXnvIEjgYJHOUCxYHQ6dpMExXfqzJodTlGTP60uDvca-2ugtha6kFEFkMQyeiFNy8x_lijNxBU9nBQQBTqTo/s400/FMS%20Sketch%20616-001.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="309" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzLNbDY4WMjIDfVzHddwCIUV9JZA1Snd72jKZh8pucIaDB1gysDMAiTu1Nn2-BeTeJ6WBsj3nhDKhKVX_xIZ269n1VkTDI9VS-XeoKsvK4IXnvIEjgYJHOUCxYHQ6dpMExXfqzJodTlGTP60uDvca-2ugtha6kFEFkMQyeiFNy8x_lijNxBU9nBQQBTqTo/s320/FMS%20Sketch%20616-001.png" width="247" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh52j_tHimpnGzWJSGIL5GMsLrr4ZSIPaxBybT0t2YqS88P6Q134ESGLFbSbt-wsS9KMYNXy8VjKm5shqNcPVJRS4Q-tSOkxp_MPD0Ot3mOzxfUxpANDfRcZOE9cef3DP7aEq_2Sgp8YbYlGdrTruQNt5dbU3eO2s_LrdP_IMm7RzGXmeoVDvOsV-Gwbaor/s400/773%20green,%20purple,%20blue,%20gold%201213.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="400" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh52j_tHimpnGzWJSGIL5GMsLrr4ZSIPaxBybT0t2YqS88P6Q134ESGLFbSbt-wsS9KMYNXy8VjKm5shqNcPVJRS4Q-tSOkxp_MPD0Ot3mOzxfUxpANDfRcZOE9cef3DP7aEq_2Sgp8YbYlGdrTruQNt5dbU3eO2s_LrdP_IMm7RzGXmeoVDvOsV-Gwbaor/w200-h200/773%20green,%20purple,%20blue,%20gold%201213.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><br /><div>That's it for me. Boy it sure has been awhile since I last posted. To be honest I haven't really felt like making cards lately. I have been doing alot of stitching, though, lol! But, I have made a card for the following challenges: <a href="http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/2023/12/pp669-theme-challenge-from-jaydee.html">Paper Players</a>, <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2023/12/freshly-made-sketches-615-sketch-by.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a> and <a href="https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2023/12/color-throwdown-challenge-772.html">Color Throwdown</a>. Also adding this to the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-use-craft-dies/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge</a> to use dies.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIAS9kw_iSIBhwq-w20rAOyBcKxTeDzCYlR12x7fHsVde3NnbsZ378kYbYajhkAuIDM_-ZOrQCiSlv5o8B6d_puewfqaws73DkvKHXWAByV6r96W30k_pwL_EVtWCo5WJIWz-mtncrfMjnWj7-Qpl5uKHZCbx-Gl-slOlE2vJEmnmTYw8vGyIjgJsBrdbN/s2411/Aqua%20Blue%20Tree.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2411" data-original-width="2300" height="619" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIAS9kw_iSIBhwq-w20rAOyBcKxTeDzCYlR12x7fHsVde3NnbsZ378kYbYajhkAuIDM_-ZOrQCiSlv5o8B6d_puewfqaws73DkvKHXWAByV6r96W30k_pwL_EVtWCo5WJIWz-mtncrfMjnWj7-Qpl5uKHZCbx-Gl-slOlE2vJEmnmTYw8vGyIjgJsBrdbN/w590-h619/Aqua%20Blue%20Tree.jpg" width="590" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I used the Fresh Air Holiday Tree set from the Simon Says Stamp October release for my blue and aqua card. I learned that the best way to get all the layers correct is to die cut the tree image and then line up all the layers. Works like a charm! I started with a really light aqua ink and unfortunately you really can't see it in the photo. The next layer is more of a true aqua and the final layer is a dark blue. I used Altenew Fresh Inks Dew Drops and Aqualicious for the aqua layers and Pinkfresh Studio Stargazer for the dark blue. There are two additional layering images in the set. One adds a garland and the other little dots. I went with the little dots layer. I used watermark ink, applied gold embossing powder and heat set. The star was also embossed in gold. The sentiment was stamped in the Stargazer blue. Die cut the star and sentiment with dies from the set. I embossed dark blue cardstock with a Simon Says Stamp snowflake embossing folder and then swiped the top of the piece with gold ink before adhereing it to my white cardstock rectangle. I layered on the rest of the elements and then added the panel to a white cardstock base. Clean and simple!<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOJEw4z2nI1PiGMkAPTFHCBV83ySvsQvv-QM4GqvvIF-3EgfQv4w9qLfp0OqqiDBDYQ7PrrqkNlsELL8CVqbGH56TraCC74K3urduyiDQs_q_RG6pofyDKjA7wxELlEd_Sj7u5KHVX0Wl5btzwH9NVsow6-TfNDIIx7_OhMN7jHu2YklHV97FuzZYsObtQ/s400/772%20cobalt%20blue,%20aqua,%20gold%201206.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="400" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOJEw4z2nI1PiGMkAPTFHCBV83ySvsQvv-QM4GqvvIF-3EgfQv4w9qLfp0OqqiDBDYQ7PrrqkNlsELL8CVqbGH56TraCC74K3urduyiDQs_q_RG6pofyDKjA7wxELlEd_Sj7u5KHVX0Wl5btzwH9NVsow6-TfNDIIx7_OhMN7jHu2YklHV97FuzZYsObtQ/s320/772%20cobalt%20blue,%20aqua,%20gold%201206.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjybmwL0uckZ160k4TIqsYwhkDAB68UYGLbdmcfJ5T1b209WNE6JZriJxqeWovnRvZ4aLfOHf_3-OJcXWiV9x5pMSc-00VqHdFaigavc-GdDfBqGtwk2mt2zDivPbq2VCNLp0gLYSFjx-DadN6ryzjKYUXhckfDCnoLCZUk0rjgJBF-gpbYhJ1JWm6hH80Y/s400/FMS%20Final%20615-001.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="286" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjybmwL0uckZ160k4TIqsYwhkDAB68UYGLbdmcfJ5T1b209WNE6JZriJxqeWovnRvZ4aLfOHf_3-OJcXWiV9x5pMSc-00VqHdFaigavc-GdDfBqGtwk2mt2zDivPbq2VCNLp0gLYSFjx-DadN6ryzjKYUXhckfDCnoLCZUk0rjgJBF-gpbYhJ1JWm6hH80Y/s320/FMS%20Final%20615-001.jpg" width="229" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz_yZdcsOA3JlzwtBARfcKPp7Qft3QkQ39KAUSimRXg8fkff3lrYg5LL4P_KTH-n2N6pccIORs7Ec2rbJ1NQ9_2liULrY9GHFDjLK7ZBgH_Qa3Mz-rkSDOTB3GNl-Q8yfrCRzZOiOvhIQdqWFJOA1nIiwtXtSV7auSUOQNNZ-5LGL4a_QhzMFHM6fyjXzR/s320/pp669.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="320" data-original-width="301" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz_yZdcsOA3JlzwtBARfcKPp7Qft3QkQ39KAUSimRXg8fkff3lrYg5LL4P_KTH-n2N6pccIORs7Ec2rbJ1NQ9_2liULrY9GHFDjLK7ZBgH_Qa3Mz-rkSDOTB3GNl-Q8yfrCRzZOiOvhIQdqWFJOA1nIiwtXtSV7auSUOQNNZ-5LGL4a_QhzMFHM6fyjXzR/s1600/pp669.png" width="301" /></a></div><br /><div>Thats it for me! Popping in with a couple more Christmas cards to share. The first card is for the <a href="http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/2023/11/pp667-clean-and-simple-challenge-from.html">Paper Players challenge</a> to create a clean and simple card with a tag on it. I also used the sketch from <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2023/11/freshly-made-sketches-613-sketch-by-kim.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a> so will post it there. Take a look.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG9dzvCvwXtt8HP0h3f1ChZ8kerACih_46yAqCVZHfPh2oFBLAxyxuOQD5dVKvDRiq8DBRF9PcbFbddxyGi7eUJQ5UEk3WuVHGyvaUntcj7ngNZXjmwoZH3RynVDJWltGKSWrCdyMkWUvXjY9Cp-q8IOVcgzAJwqIJwS1N1UiWn_YgYU3iDUNI5TQqyO7c/s2595/deer.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2595" data-original-width="2249" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG9dzvCvwXtt8HP0h3f1ChZ8kerACih_46yAqCVZHfPh2oFBLAxyxuOQD5dVKvDRiq8DBRF9PcbFbddxyGi7eUJQ5UEk3WuVHGyvaUntcj7ngNZXjmwoZH3RynVDJWltGKSWrCdyMkWUvXjY9Cp-q8IOVcgzAJwqIJwS1N1UiWn_YgYU3iDUNI5TQqyO7c/w554-h640/deer.jpg" width="554" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I made the tag several years ago for Ellen Hutson's annual Christmas tag challenge. I used one of her stamp sets for the images. I don't know which one because I was too lazy to dig through everything and find it, lol! Anyway, I stamped a starry background on watercolor paper and then did a galaxy background with watercolors. I die cut the tag from that and then added a little snowy hill for the deer to stand on. The deer was stamped, embossed and then watercolored, too. Die cut with the matching dies. I stamped and embossed the moon on vellum. Die cut it and then added some sparkle with glitter glue (I think!) Finished with the sentiments and some sparkly eyelash twine. For the sketch I added some strips of patterned paper from La La Land Crafts that went well with my tag. The back panel was embossed with a Simon Says Stamp snowflake embossing folder. Adding this to the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-make-it-sparkle-5/">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge</a> to make it sparkle.<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifLUsP2sImtc5XICWyLRVFVAgqSWZcv0xKQlCqaULxJMPVRCpW7nx0xkL7ZLT786RXjLz2GpqOGB3XtdYRagB3ViVaNIj0zQ0GfHIWE38TqSdT9SiB_CVtMBcsuPaSTvOhCkZaTXCouCRPiVnwqK_lxVzLWuakUG-osY63S7dZmViHL4Hcibo0VR7QZAW6/s400/FMS%20Final%20613-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="286" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifLUsP2sImtc5XICWyLRVFVAgqSWZcv0xKQlCqaULxJMPVRCpW7nx0xkL7ZLT786RXjLz2GpqOGB3XtdYRagB3ViVaNIj0zQ0GfHIWE38TqSdT9SiB_CVtMBcsuPaSTvOhCkZaTXCouCRPiVnwqK_lxVzLWuakUG-osY63S7dZmViHL4Hcibo0VR7QZAW6/s320/FMS%20Final%20613-001.jpg" width="229" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilFxNSadqRuRMPpxKsXeeSfWZZt2y9Br8nniyVduNaU-Kl8PnOWnToSha5_4KFoEDTtTdQaAL9hr9D4cBEAO3KAqXS0TC4eF1HSXpmllHA8vBEXiN3Zur2tnzFV5puqFV3MsPaxIvWJ9KE2KpcgpYWEJ5izWaTmjJCOHAUsF-ugqjxCNVyjoN4M9H6K8d7/s320/pp667.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="320" data-original-width="301" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilFxNSadqRuRMPpxKsXeeSfWZZt2y9Br8nniyVduNaU-Kl8PnOWnToSha5_4KFoEDTtTdQaAL9hr9D4cBEAO3KAqXS0TC4eF1HSXpmllHA8vBEXiN3Zur2tnzFV5puqFV3MsPaxIvWJ9KE2KpcgpYWEJ5izWaTmjJCOHAUsF-ugqjxCNVyjoN4M9H6K8d7/w188-h200/pp667.png" width="188" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div>My second card is for the <a href="https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2023/11/color-throwdown-challenge-770.html">Color Throwdown challenge</a> and I used a Stampin Up! stamp and die set that I recently purchased. That was die cut with a Memory Box arched die. The smaller arched die was cut from dark green cardstock and stamped with an image from the stamp set using a dark green ink. I adhered the sentiment and then added the little pine branches that I die cut from black metallic cardstock using a die from the coordinating Stampin Up! die set. The little berries were also die cut from the cardstock that I created with the direct to paper inking. I added some glossy accents to them for a little shine.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpWoakYdNxYUE8PcIMKL_x_YawBXdDVIK9zg_9V4SdMfE4R5OIFOYbwO92BYBlZkrtZbZOshriAXD-bx7aVrwO8lEedRAbhSKFRYjdi-ZZ8Xc31r9N8jajXmLu6nAXmbUYWbymuFNP6yrhAKkp4rXAtOlnK2YE0wESj1CEPeFHUyEoJZKQUzdHQpZtOVWu/s400/770%20white,%20black,%20dark%20green,%20yellow%20green%201122.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="400" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpWoakYdNxYUE8PcIMKL_x_YawBXdDVIK9zg_9V4SdMfE4R5OIFOYbwO92BYBlZkrtZbZOshriAXD-bx7aVrwO8lEedRAbhSKFRYjdi-ZZ8Xc31r9N8jajXmLu6nAXmbUYWbymuFNP6yrhAKkp4rXAtOlnK2YE0wESj1CEPeFHUyEoJZKQUzdHQpZtOVWu/s320/770%20white,%20black,%20dark%20green,%20yellow%20green%201122.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div>That's it for me.
