But, on to my card... this time for One Layer Wednesday. The challenge this week is to stamp three images and then a sentiment. Lately my favorite way to stamp three of something is to do some 2nd and 3rd generation stamping. I just love the look. And my favorite stamps to accomplish this type of stamping?? Stampin Up!'s Echoes of Kindness set. I absolutely adore the line drawn images in the set. All three of the floral images are just beautiful and the sentiment is lovely, as well. One of these days I have to try coloring them! I didn't use the sentiment for the card, though. Instead I used a sentiment from the There She Goes set, Bloom. Inks are from Close to My Heart, Autumn Terracotta and New England Ivy for an autumnal feel. Cardstock is PTI's Vintage Cream. I added a few rhinestones for a bit of bling.
Thanks for taking a peek...

Love this, Rosie! Beautifully done! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed! Those ARE wonderful stamps! This is an excellent way to just CELEBRATE stamping! What a WONDERFUL sport we enjoy, eh! Gosh, Rosie - this is the definition of excellent! Great work - I'm ALL inspired! Yeeee haw!
ReplyDeleteWow, I ALMOST used this same set for the Challenge, but I wasn't clever enough to think of making 3 generations of one stamp. I was going to use one generation of each of 3 stamps, but decided that would look dumb. In the end, I put the set away, though I love it, and have never inked it even once. I've been hoarding it like it's a prized piece of cardstock.
