Going Inside the Box with CR84FN..

During my ramblings around the papercrafting world I stopped at the Layers of Colour blog and saw the most incredible project for something called an "exploding box".  Intrigued by this exploding box I went on a search to find good instructions on how to make one (it is really actually very simple to make) and after finding what I needed got to work.  (I apologize for not having a link to where I got the instructions from.)  I used the color combo from this weeks CR84FN challenge of teal, green and yellow.... yummy springtime colors.

The box was created using a 12x12 sheet of Bazzill cardstock and then the lid was made from a 6x6 piece of cardstock.  All the stamps used for the box are from Hero Arts.  For the colors I chose to use Stampin Up!'s Taken with Teal, So Saffron & Pear Pizzazz.   The flower was created by stamping it on white cardstock, trimming it out and then sponging on So Saffron ink  After more cutting and stamping this is how the interior turned out:

Thanks for taking a peek...sometimes we need to get outside the box, but sometimes it is good to go back in!

Supplies:  Cardstock:  Bazzill white; Stampin Up! Taken with Teal & Pear Pizzazz; Stamps:  Hero Arts Large Flower, Antique Brocade, Little Butterfly & Find Joy sets; Rhinestones; Diamond Stickles
