CR84FN is JustRite!

My card today uses the current colors from CR84FN of  light pink, bright pink & chartreuse, an absolutely lovely and springy color combination!   While I know I have patterned paper in all three of those colors, it didn't stop me from wanting to find something new and fresh to use to make my card.  I got that chance on Monday when I was able to stop at my favorite stamp store, Impress Rubber Stamps.  They had papers from the Making Memories line Dilly Dally that worked perfectly with the CR84FN colors.   So... I got a couple of sheets. 



I'm also putting this card into the current JustRite challenge to use the "direct to rubber" method of inking your stamps (coloring the image with markers so you have more than one color on the stamp).  I used my Memento Angel Pink, Rose Bud & Cottage Ivy markers to color the sweet pea and border images from the JustRite set My Garden.   I then colored the sweet peas with the following Copic markers:  RV21, RV23, YG00 & YG03.   I diecut the sweet peas and the border using Spellbinders large circle dies and then lightly inked the edges with some Spun Sugar distress ink.    The card was finished off with some chartreusey May Arts silk ribbon.... yummy!

Thanks for taking a peek.... If you have never played along with CR84FN, you really should!  The color combos are fantastic (I mean just look at that inspiration photo!) and Mona, the creator, is just the sweetest!

    Nice work, darlin'! I know exactly what you mean about having a lil' something FRESH to work with! THE proof is, definitely, in the pudding, however! THIS CARD IS WONDERFUL! I love the stamp work and that gorgeous and PROUD bow: a flawless combination, indeed!

    Between your blog background & beautiful card, you've got me thinking of spring! (Especially, since the rain has been coming down all night.....crossing my fingers for a break by the time we have to bolt for the car to drive to school! :>) And I love the Spun Sugar ink....that's one I don't have the pleasure of playing with yet.
