Off the Edge with Less is More

The challenge set today by Chrissie & Mandi over at Less is More is to create a one layer card and stamp your image off the edge of the card.   Over the last several days I haven't had much time to get any papercrafting done and it feels like my mojo is on a break.  The challenge at Less is More was a perfect way to try to kick start the ol' mojo.  I got a few new Penny Black stamps the other day so I thought I would use them for my card.

When it comes to making CAS style cards I tend to use white cardstock as my base because I just love "white space" that is well... white!  But today I decided to use kraft cardstock for a bit of a change.  I stamped the Penny Black image "butterfly suite" in SU!'s Bravo Burgundy on PTI's kraft cardstock.  The stamp was position so that portions of it would be off the edge on the bottom and right hand side of the card.   The sentiment is another Penny Black stamp "beautiful ways".  I stamped it in black and then added a few black pearls.

Thanks for peeking... going to work on getting my mojo back.  Oh.. and one more thing!  A big thank you to Chrissi and Mandi for picking my "Less is More" card from last week as a "Less is More showCASe" card!

Supplies:  Cardstock:  PTI kraft; Stamps:  Penny Black: butterfly suite & beautiful ways; Ink:  SU! Bravo Burgundy, Memento Black; KaiserCraft black pearls
