Hey there!! Have a card for this week's ColourQ challenge... another absolutely fun color combo!! The layout is another fabulous sketch from the super talented Chupa! All the stamps are from Hero Arts.
I started by stamping the white panel with the Hero Arts Classic Fabric Design background stamp using Stampin Up!'s Certain Celery ink. I layered some white lace ribbon on top to soften the edge of the stamping. The flowers were created using the Hero Arts/Sizzix stamp and die set Bold Pop Designs. Two flowers were stamped using SU!'s Melon Mambo ink and one flower stamped using Memento Dandelion ink. The flowers were then die cut using the matching flower dies. Love those Sizzix dies that match the Hero Arts stamps... makes cutting out the flowers a complete snap!! I don't mind fussy cutting, but it sure is nice to be able to just get the job done with one pass through your die cutting machine!! Some buttons were added to the centers of the flower for a more finished look. The sentiment was stamped using Tuxedo Black ink.
Thanks for stopping by....
