ODBDSLC102 - Your Favorite ODBD Stamps

Hey there!!  Happy Saturday... its time for another ODBD Shining the Light challenge!   Well...ODBD's birthday month is coming to a close (boo hoo!).   And like all the challenges this month we want you to use your ODBD stamps on your project, but this time the team is challenging you to use your FAVORITE ODBD stamps.

Now, to be honest with you I absolutely LOVE all my ODBD stamps, so it was really hard for me to choose my favorite, but there is one stamp set that has just a slight edge over the rest and that is the set "As You Graduate".  When I first saw this set I fell in love with the beautiful main image showing a forested path.  Then I read the sentiments and knew I had to have it for my collection.  I especially love the quote from Corrie ten Boom.   I stamped the main image using Hero Art's Punch chalk ink and then decided to cut the image in half on the diagonal.   I didn't realize that I would be creating a bit of a problem for myself!  I can't tell you how many pink triangles of cardstock I ended up with making and in the end I simply matted the two pieces on a single piece of cardstock!!  The sentiment was stamped using Memento Bamboo Leaves and then die cut using a Spellbinders Label 11.   Three brads from the This & That line finished things off.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for thprize must be submitted by Friday, April 6th at 8 a.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on most of our challenges, this month it is an Our Daily Bread Designs only challenge month in honor of the ODBD 4th Anniversary. Three or more of our participants will be chosen for the Shining the Light Award . In order to qualify for this award or join the challenge, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Friday, April 6th at 8 a.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC102. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

  1. Hello Rosie
A most beautiful card, I love your Bg paper and you have done well matching up your ink, the addition of the brads look great, and give the card not only an attractive interest but a tactile quality as well.
    Smiles:)

I don't need graduation cards, but I would love to have this image & another quote by Corrie ten Boom, so this set is on my wishlist now. Hugs, Greta
