Hey there!! Hope your week is going well. Our crazy weather continues here in W. Washington. Today we had high winds and rain! The dog and I had quite the time bucking that wind on our morning walk!
Anywhoo... all that yucky weather makes for a perfect day to stay inside and do some crafting and so that's what I did. I finally got my card for TESC154 done. I combined it with the current color combo from CR84FN to make a really bright and cheerful card (you might want to put on sunglasses!). As I was rummaging through my stuff I came across this pack of designer paper I had purchased from Stampin Up! And as I paged through the sheets I was pleasantly surprised to see that all the CR84FN colors were contained in that one pack!! That made my job easier for sure!! I just recently got some new TE stamps, one being the Spring Tulips set and I definitely wanted to ink it up. I stamped the single tulip from the set on white cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink, colored the stem with Copic marker YG03 and then trimmed out. The tulip head was stamped on some of the patterned paper, trimmed out and adhered to the main tulip image. The circle was die cut using a plain Spellbinders circle die and a Spellbinders Lacey circle die. After putting all the paper elements of the card together I finished the card off with the little flower buttons. A very faithful rendition of the sketch.
Thanks for stopping by...
