Hello friends!!! I have some fun news to share that is tinged with a bit of sadness. Several weeks ago I received the honor of being the "Top Chef" winner of the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge (#157). Being picked as the "Top Chef" meant that I got the opportunity to be a guest designer for the next TE Sketch Challenge. How fun is that and not a bit sad, either! The reason there is a bit of sadness is because this week's TE Sketch challenge (#158) is the final TE Sketch Challenge (insert sad face). Taylor (owner of Taylored Expressions) has decided to end her long running sketch challenge. But don't be too sad because there is still a ton of fun to be had over at the Taylored Expressions blog!! Taylor is ending her sketch challenge with a bang! You can find out all the details here, but here a few details I want to share:
One winner from each sketch will receive a $10 gift certificate to the TE Store.
One lucky person who participates in ALL FOUR SKETCHES will receive a $40 gift certificate to the TE store!!
Now, on to my card. I used the TE set Spring Tulips and one of the four sketches. All the papers and card stock used are from my March TE Key Ingredients Kit. I love those TE Key Ingredients kits! I went with a fairly clean and simple interpretation of the sketch. The tulip image was stamped on cream cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copic markers and then trimmed out. The sentiment is from the TE set Creativ-Tea.
Thanks for stopping by and please make sure that you stop by the TE blog and play along with the final sketch challenge! And please make sure to check out the blogs of the following TE designers: Cassie Trask, Jami Sibley, Lisa Hjulberg, Lori Craig, Monika Davis, Rachel Sztonyk, Tracy Clemente, and Taylor VanBruggen
