Hello! Well the pendulum has swung back in the opposite direction and I have a little CAS card to share with you, as well as a very CAS look to my blog. I was getting a bit bored with the look of my blog and decided to go simple for awhile. The challenge this week at Less is More is to make a one layer card and to use 3 of something on your card. That could be three stamps, three colors, etc. So many options for this challenge that I really couldn't decide what direction to go in. I dragged out several different stamp sets and even some patterned paper, but nothing was gelling for me. So I went back to take another look at my stamps and I saw my ODBD set Loving Memories. The set was part of this month's ODBD release and has this beautiful calla lily image and five different sentiments.
As I looked at the set I remembered a card I had made a week or so ago for a color challenge on Splitcoaststampers using this set and how much I loved the way that card turned out (I have included a small photo of the original). I decided to use the set for this card keeping the color combo, but taking it down to a one layer card. So, my three items are the three flowers on the calla lily, three words in the sentiment and three rhinestones. The first card is much prettier (in my honest opinion), but I do really like how this new version turned out. Thought I would pass along that
ODBD is have a sale running from the 16th through 20th of July. Spend $100-$149.00 and you can save %10 on your oder (use code CHA10); spend $150-199.00 and you can save %15 on your order (use code CHA15) and on orders over $200.00 you can save 25% (use code CHA25). I hope you will check it out!!
Finally I must say a very big thank you to Chrissie and Mandi for picking me as the over winner at Less is More for the month of June! I can't tell you have excited and honored I was to see that they had picked me!! Thank you so much, ladies!!
