Hello... I'm back with my card for this week's CASology challenge. This week the cue word is white. All the details about the challenge can be found here.
I love white on white cards and so decided to make a white on white card, but broke things up a little bit by adding in some velllum. I used both dry and heat embossing on the vellum to add further interest. The layout is based on the current sketch from The Craft's Meow. I stamped the flower from the Craft's Meow set Beautiful Spring on the vellum using watermark ink, applied white embossing powder, heat set it and then trimmed it out. The tag was die cut using my ODBD tag die. The strip of vellum was embossed using the Stampin Up! Fancy Fan embossing folder. The card was finished off with a white button, white twine and some white Venise lace.
Thanks for stopping by....make sure you check out the cards from the rest of the design team: Melissa, Tracey, Jen, Ardyth and this week's guest designer, Bev! Can't wait to see what you come up with using this week's cue word!
Supplies: Cardstock: PTI white; PTI Vellum; Stamps: The Craft's Meow; Ink: watermark ink; Embossing powder: Filigree white; Twine: Montana Misfits; Venise Lace: The Funkie Junkie; Button: PTI; Die: ODBD; Embossing Folder: Stampin Up!
Beautiful, love the ribbon treatment!

ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw the theme this week at CASology, I knew you would be like Flynn! And of course you do not disappoint!
This is Purity in all it's splendour...I love the sketch design that you have used, and adding the vellum has created a wistful feeling even though the White is stark and cold, your texture softens the effect.
Gosh Rosie you have covered your card...and how stunning and beautiful the effect is.
This is a winner for me.
Smiles:)
