i went with a rustic sort of look and used a kraft, cream and mustard yellow color combo. i embossed the kraft cardstock using a new stampin up! embossing folder, woodgrain. after embossing the cardstock i swiped on some cream pigment ink to bring out the woodgrain a bit more. the wreath image was stamped using kraft ink for a soft look and a bit of old paper ink was used to distress the edges. the sentiment was stamped using more mustard ink and then cut out using a small spellbinders plain circle die. this was matted using additional more mustard cardstock. finished off the card with some twine and a mustard colored button tied with additional twine. thanks for stopping by... please make sure you check out the new releases and the brand new ODBD webstore!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! The look you achieved for the wreath is incredible! I love soft, but have trouble getting the image to show & here it's perfect! Gotta remember this sketch, too--think it may help my mojo which seems lacking right now.
