Hello friends!! A few weeks ago I was contacted by the super talented Kim Teasdale of ISpy Sketches asking if they could use this card as the basis for an upcoming ISpy sketch challenge and I, of course, said YES!!! Can't tell you how excited I was to have been given this honor because the ISpy design team is fab-u-lous!! So the current ISpy sketch found here is based on my little ol' card and I just had to play along!
I used another newly release ODBD set for my card called Perfect Gift. I decided to make it easy on myself and just stamp the tree image and leave it uncolored. It is for this reason I chose to stamp the image using my favorite red, SU!'s Cherry Cobbler. I trimmed the tree out and then lightly inked the edges with Rangers Old Paper distress ink. The verse was also stamped using Cherry Cobbler, die cut using a Spellbinders long rectangle die and then lightly inked the edges with Old Paper. The tree and verse were mounted on a circle cut using a Spellbinder plain circle die that was matted with a Spellbinders scalloped circle. The papers are from the My Mind's Eye Merry & Bright 6x6 pad.
Thanks for stopping by and if you have a chance give the ISpy sketch a try....
