hello friends!! our typical western washington weather has finally shown up! we have rain, rain and more rain! but that's okay because we had apparently been experiencing a drought for about the last three months. so with all that rain it makes for the perfect time to get a little card made for this week's less is more challenge. this week is one layer week and the divas (chrissie & mandi) are asking us to use something with wings on our card. i decided to make a little halloween card.
for this card i used stamps from the pti set, spooky sweets, and a hero arts set, spooky halloween. i used a piece of scrap paper and took the time to work out exactly how i wanted to stamp the bats before getting to work on my card. after stamping the bats i inked up the pumpkin with some mustard yellow ink and then using the rock & roll method applied some dark orange ink and then stamped the image. the little stem was stamped using always artichoke ink. finished things off with the sentiment stamped in black. very pleased with how the card turned out.
thanks for stopping by....
supplies: cardstock: pti white; stamps; pti and hero arts; inks: stampin up! more mustard, pumpkin pie & always artichoke, memento tuxedo black.
A spooky CAS card, slight contradiction in terms, but it's fabulous Rosie:) love that pumpkin! We've had so much rain this year that the leaves aren't changing colour or dropping!
