Hello friends!! I'm super excited today because I'm guest designing over at the A Jillian Vance Design blog! I have a little project I made using the super cute AJVD set Doodle Birthday. This set has lots of fun images and was designed by my in real life (and fellow blogger), Lisa Lara! Lisa has lots of fun sets that she has designed for AJVD so make sure you check them out, as well as all the new stamps and dies that were just released by AJVD!
For my card today I started with a piece of floral paper from the American Crafts Dear Lizzie 5th & Frolic 6x6 pad. I then stamped the underwear image on different pieces of patterned paper that coordinated with the floral piece and trimmed them out. The banner sentiment was stamped and trimmed out, as well. I adhered the banner to the white cardstock piece using foam dimensionals and then attached the underwear so they "hang" from the banner. I layered my floral paper and the banner piece as shown and then stamped the coordinating sentiment on the floral paper to finish off the card.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks to A Jillian Vance Design for letting me be a guest designer on their blog today!
Supplies: Cardstock: PTI white; Patterned Paper: American Crafts Dear Lizzie 5th & Frolic; Stamps: A Jillian Vance Design Doodle Birthday; Ink: Memento Pear Tart & Tuxedo Black

ReplyDeleteCongrats! I haven't heard of this company--will have to check them out. Love that your "fun" card is so "pretty"--we do forget everything doesn't have to "match" like you said about the yellow ribbon. Wonderfully done, my friend!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your GD spot, Rosemary, your card is so fun ... love all the different PP! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable card, Rosemary! I always love your paper piecing and this is a really fun stamp set!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you that I received the Take Ten issue you are in as Featured Stamper and I really enjoyed the cards and the article!
In fact, honestly, your cards in the interview piece and throughout the magazine were pretty much the only ones I did like! It's just still too arty for me, I see, but it was fantastic fun to get the issue and know the "cover girl!"
All the best! Darnell
