tis' the season...

Hello friends... wow... seems like ages since I last posted!  But has only been since Tuesday!   Have a little Christmas card that I made using some fun Penny Black stamps.  Not for any challenge... made "just because"!  Honestly I think I see more of "sharing just because" type of cards in my future.  Anywhoo...  on to my card!


I made this one using the recently released Penny Black sets "Festive Forest" and "Christmas Wishes".  The set contains the three little trees each in their own little wonky box and so I lined them up on my acrylic block and stamped then using Memento's Bamboo Leaves ink.  Each tree was then stamped on some fun patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Mistletoe Magic 6x6 pad, trimmed out and adhered with foam dimensionals.  Some MME enamel dots were added to one tree and a Prima Sugar Dot heart to another.  A bit of color was done with some Copic markers and a Wink of Stella silver ink marker.  The sentiment was stamped and then die cut using a MFT fishtail flag stax die.

    This is really a fun card, Rosemary. I like the paper pieced trees and your added embellies. Great idea to line them up on the block for placement.

    Love the whimsical quality of your card Rosemary! I know what you mean about the "just because" sharing- there are soooo many challenges out there now it can be a little overwhelming.
