so special...

Hey friends!!  Popping in with a quick post of a card that I made for today's Hero Arts Scramble hosted by Barb.  After I finished the card and got it posted in the HA flickr group I had to go do my grocery shopping.  When I got back I realized that this would be perfect for the current Less is More challenge "wings".   Do ya think I have enough "white space", lol???


I used some older Hero Arts sets that are a couple of my favorites:  Antique Flowers & Butterflies and Year Round Sentiments.  I stamped the butterfly using VersaMark watermark ink, apprlied Judikins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder and heat set it.   Then I die cut it using the coordinating die.  The main panel was partially embossed with my SU! Decorative Dots EF and then I adhered a little tangle of silver metallic thread.  The butterfly was adhered over the thread and the sentiment stamped in grey ink.  Round a couple of corners, mounted it on my card base and I was done.  Here is a detail shot of the butterfly:

    I didn't know there was a die for that butterfly--I "need" it! This is one of the prettiest white on white cards I've ever seen & you were even able to get a great picture! This is stunning, Rosemary!

    Beautiful card...love the metallic thread under the gorgeous butterfly...it really adds to the card.
