SSS Make Merry Release!

Hey everyone!  Popping in with three cards I made using a new background stamp called All Leaves from the Simon Says Stamp Make Merry release!  I love leaves and I love this background stamp!  You can find the release here (this is not an affiliate link, just providing it for your convenience).   The first two cards are very similar in style.  For both cards I used different shades of inks in fall colors.  The first cards uses Altenew inks in two shades of red and two shades of an orangy yellow.  I started at the top of the stamp with the orangy yellow colors and worked my way down to the red shades for an ombre look.  I trimmed down the panel and adhered it to my dark red card base.  I used a stamp from the SSS Hexagon Greetings stamp set and did the same inking as I did for the background.  I die cut it with the matching hexagon die and popped it up on the card front.  I added some little leaves (from SSS) that I die cut from gold glitter paper.  Will be adding this one to the SSS Wednesday challenge.

For the next card I added in two additional colors in shades of green (also from Altenew) and just randomly inked up the stamp with the colors.  That way I got some mixing of the colors producing a little bit of brown along with the orange, yellow, red and green.  This panel was trimmed down to a smaller size and then I die cut the word hello (a SSS die, not sure if it is still available) from the panel and then several times from white cardstock.  I placed washi tape on the back to hold the word in place and then adhered the other diecuts on top ending with the one with the stamping.  A sentiment from the SSS Thanks & Encouragement Word Mix stamp set was adhered along with some enamel dots.  The panel was then adhered to a light gray cardstock base.  I'm going to add this one to the Sunday Stamps challenge since it has alot of the colors from their challenge in it.

The final card might be may favorite.  I inked up the stamp with VersaMark watermark ink and then placed on a kraft cardstock panel.  I used scrap paper on top to help make sure I got the ink all over the panel.  I then applied gold embossing powder and heat set it.  I trimmed down the panel and then adhered it to my card base with foam tape.  I die cut the SSS Sunflower Stem die from gold glitter paper and adhere that to the card front with glue.   I then added several different sentiments from the SSS Birthday Word Mix 1 stamp set that I had previously stamped on kraft cardstock.  I adhered the pieces with foam tape and then added some gold pearls to finish the card.  This card will be going to my niece who just turned 14.  I hope she likes it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
