Sunshine & Blue Skies -

I had another challenge today trying to finish my card for the Flourishes Sunshine & Blue Skies challenge (FLLCJUN10).  I started the card last night when I stamped the large Sweet Violets image in Memento London Fog on PTI's white cardstock and then colored it with Prisma pencils and gamsol.   Then tried to finish it this afternoon.  I wanted to use the current JUGs challenge sketch, but I just couldn't make it work.  So, I fell back on a Clean & Simple sketch to get the job done.   I'm pretty happy with the card and especially like how the violets turned out.

Thanks for taking a peek!

  1. This looks like you DREW it! I love THAT! The colors are so pleasing, like a lovely kitchen in a heritage home! In fact, I could see a little gem like this IN a kitchen like that ~ in a frame! Really "sweet", darling Rose! Glad you adapted it to this sketch and saved this great piece!
