happy foreverness...

hello friends!!  hope your weekend has been going well.  we have been experiencing some amazingly good weather here in western washington.  it has been all sunny blue skies and not a drop of rain... a bit unusual for western washington in the fall.  but... the grey skies will show up sooner or later.  anyway... finally got a chance this morning to get my card for the current less is more challenge done.  yesterday was a complete wash with too much to do and no time to craft!

september had five saturdays and so that mean that this is "lucky dip" week.  chrissie and mandi are challenging us to make a clean and simple card with the theme "love and marriage".   i don't make too many wedding cards so i needed a bit of help and since i haven't done a waltzingmouse sketch challenge in over a year i decided to use the current sketch for help with my card.  i used the WMS sets holiday labels no. 14 and fancy phrases and went with a classic white on white design as that is always perfect for a wedding card.  the label was stamped using london fog ink and then die cut using the matching spellbinders labels 14 die.  the sentiment was stamped using tuxedo black.  a bit of white twine was tied at the top.  the flowers were die cut using a memory petal patch die.  finished things off with an embossed background and some rhinestones.

thanks for stopping by..

supplies:  cardstock:  pti white; stamps:  waltzingmouse; inks:  memento; rhinestones:  kaisercraft and queen & co; dies:  spellbinders

  6. Beautiful Rosemary! So elegant too! The weather here on the east coast has been lovely as well, but the squirrels are much too busy flying acorns all over the place. I think this means a cold winter is coming!
