ODBD October Release Blog Hop!!

Hello friends!!  Today I get to "run with the big dogs" and participate in the October release blog hop for Our Daily Bread Designs!!   This month's hop is all about the upcoming holidays:  Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I'm so excited to be sharing my project with you today!    Here are all the deets:  the hop runs from 8:00 am EDT October 1st through 8:00pm EDT on October 2nd.  All the winners will be announced on October 3rd on the ODBD blog.   There will be SIX prizes of your choice of one set!!  Hop along to each link and leave a comment, then return to the ODBD blog to tell us that you completed the hop and answer the questions.  Easy peasy!  And don't forget to check back on the 3rd to see if you are one of the winners!!

Now... on to my card.   If you got here from the blog of the amazingly talented Tosh then you are on the right track.  For my card I used the new ODBD set Pumpkin Wreath.  I stamped the wreath using Memento Tuxedo black ink and then colored the image with Copic markers.  After coloring the image I trimmed it out and using a small paintbrush added a little bit a sparkle to the wreath using Rangers Diamond Stickles.   A bit of wide ribbon and an embossed background completed the card.  I finished off the interior of the card by stamping the wreath on a piece of cardstock using light brown ink and then stamped the sentiment using dark brown ink.  I added touches of Diamond Stickles to the image as well.  The piece was then adhered to the inside.

  28. Gorgeous card Rosemary - the colours really pop on the front. What a nice idea to stamp the wreath inside then add the wording over the top in a darker colour ... looks so nice and just shows that stamps aren't just for the front of cards only. The little bit of glitz makes it all so pretty - lovely! Well done - I love this card!
