Hello friends!! Happy New Year and welcome to the very first Colour Me challenge... YAY!!! I'm so excited to be a part of the design team for this fun new challenge! All the details can be found here on the Colour Me blog. Each month we will be joined by a guest designer and this month's guest is the super talented Lesley Croghan! Now... on to my card.
As this is the first challenge of the month you will have one color plus neutrals to work with to create your project. For my card I decided to use this week's color of Island Indigo along with white and grey. The stamps I used are from the Precious Remembrance Shop set DIY. I inked up the feather image from the set in Island Indigo and did some generational stamping to create a monochromatic look. The large word "learn" was stamped using grey ink (SU!'s Smoky Slate) and then the sentiment "something new every day" was overstamped using Island Indigo. The little smudge image at the top was stamped by first inking up the image, stamping off on scrap paper and then stamping on my cardstock. I finished off the card with some white sequins.
Thanks for stopping by... please check out the projects created by my fellow teamies Tara, Hayley, Sam, Katie, Brenda and January guest designer, Lesley.
Supplies: Cardstock: PTI white, SU! Smoky Slate; Stamps: Precious Remembrance Shop; Ink: SU! Island Indigo & Smoky Slate; Sequins: Ellen Hutson
