Simon Says Stamp/Memory Box STAMPtember Collaboration Release!

Hello friends!  I'm popping in to share a couple of cards that I created with the new collaboration stamp and die set from Simon Says Stamp and Memory Box!   This super cute set is called Good Cheer and you can find it here.  Don't forget that it is a limited edition set so once it sells out it is never coming back.   Let's have a look at what I made.

This card was made with the sweet little snowman from the set along with the cute little tree and snowflake images from the set.  I also used the Birch Press Design Wavy Hillside die set.  Memory Box glitter cardstock with a light blue sparkle was die cut with the Wavy Hillside die for my snowy background.  I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them with Copic makers.  I arranged the hillside pieces and then stamped the snowflakes.  Once that was done I adhered the hills using thin foam tape for the bottom hill so I could slip the snowman behind and glue for the rests of the pieces.  I stamped the sentiment, die cut it with the matching die and then adhered it with thin foam squares.  I finished with a little bit more sparkle from distress Rock Candy glitter.

The stamp set also has two cute penguin images.  I did stamp and color both images with Copic markers, but I haven't gotten around to make a card with the second image.  I just love this cute little penguin holding a cup of hot cocoa!  There is even the image to stamp the steam... love it!  I used Memory Box Yuletide Plaid patterned paper for the background.  Die cutting the papers with Poppystamps Simple Rings (top circle) and Nordic Heart Pattern Rings dies.  I adhered them to a kraft cardstock panel die cut with a Memory Box rectangle die, stamped the sentiment and then added my little penguin, cup and the trees.  To give the card a little more of a Christmas feel I added the little yellow stars to the tops of the tree.

That's it for me.  Make sure you check out this limited collaboration stamp and die set here on the SSS blog.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

SSS Rain or Shine Release

Hello friends!  Simon Says Stamp has a brand new release out today called Rain or Shine!  We definitely have the rain part going on here in the Pacific Northwest.  Hopefully the shine part will show up soon, lol!  Simon Says Stamp was so kind and sent me the sweet Farm Life stamp set to create with.  Let's have a look at what I made.

For this card I did a little masking something I don't often do even though it really isn't that hard.  I determined what I needed to stamp first, created my masks and got to work.  Once I was done, I colored the images with Copic markers.  After stamping the sentiment I used a very light blue Copic marker to add just a hint of blue sky behind my little scene.  I die cut the panel with a rectangle die, added the twine and bow and then adhered to my card base.

I couldn't resist making this card with the sweet momma duck and her little ducklings.  I arranged all the ducks on my kraft panel and then stamped them.  I then added in all the little tufts of grass around them, as well as the sentiment.  Then I colored them very simply with PrismaColor pencils.  I die cut the panel and then added the little twine bow at the top of the panel.    I'm going to add this to the current Color Hues challenge of lemon and lime.

That's it for me.  Please check out the new release.  It is loaded with lots of fun new products!

fun, bright cards...

Hello!  I'm popping in with a couple of fun, bright cards that I got a chance to make.  The first one is for Freshly Made Sketches.  Take a look.

Back in May I purchased the Simon Says Stamp June card kit as I thought it would be a fun one to have for making birthday cards for my little nieces and nephew.    This card will be going to my little niece, Mia, who turns three in September.  I used the Simon Says Stamp Instagram colors of aqua, pink and green for the card.  I stamped the cupcake and candle images on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers.  I stamped the heart shaped swirled sucker on to a die cut rectangle with Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copics, as well.  I stamped a confetti image from the stamp set over the sucker with VersaMark watermark ink, sprinkled on a glitter embossing powder and heat set it.  I then layered on the cupcake pieces and candles using liquid adhesive and thin foam squares.  Finished with the sentiment stamped in black.   Perfect for a little girl, don't you think?

This next card is another one for the Altenew July challenge and it was super quick to put together.  Have a look.

It was quick to put together due to the fact that I had created these pieces at the time I made the first card.  I used an Altenew debossing plate for the background and then simply layered on the different leafy pieces.  I finished with a sentiment strip from Memory Box.  Clean and simple!

That's it for me!  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Simon Says Stamp Cheering for You Release!

(Please see my Birch Press Design post here.)

Hello, again!  I'm popping in to share a couple of cards that I made using products from the Simon Says Stamp Cheering for You release that is now available over at Simon Says Stamp.  Let have a look at card number one.

Simon Says Stamp was so kind and sent me the super cute Halloween Friends stamp set. (You can also get the Halloween Friends dies and the Halloween Friends bundle.) They also sent me a package of clear acrylic card bases.  I combined the two to make this card.  I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then did simple Copic coloring of the images.  I just love that cute little pumpkin!  I trimmed out all the pieces and set them aside.  I used the Simon Says Stamp Ticking background stamp to create the background.  I inked it up with Spiced Marmalade distress ink and stamped it on white cardstock.  I then die cut the panel with the Simon Says Stamp A2 Nesting Frames die and adhered the images with foam squares.  I used liquid adhesive to adhere the image panel to the front of the clear card base.  I then die cut 3 additional panels of white cardstock.  I added one behind the top panel, one inside the card and then one to the back.  Before adding the inside card panel I did stamp it with a sentiment.   Simple, but cute, I think!

For this card I found a very old piece of Halloween patterned paper that I had already die cut with a rectangle die.  As you can see it has the faint image of 31 on the paper and I thought that was the perfect place to add these two little cuties from the stamp set.  I stamped them on white cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them simply with Copic markers.  I trimmed all the images out.  The little trick or treat bag is a separate image and I was able to trim out the interior so I could hang it on the arm of my little Frankenstein!  I just had to use that cute little pumpkin, again!  I finished with a sentiment stamped on SSS Fog cardstock to coordinate with the Fog cardstock base.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the new Cheering for You release!
