hello friends! got a little time to make something the other day and came up with this little card. its a bit "out of the box" for me, but i do like how it turned out. the layout is based on the current ISpy sketch and the colors are based on the current CR84FN combo of pink, tan and cream.
there no stamping on this card. i started to put a sentiment on it, but then decided not to since i'm not sure exactly what i will use the card for. i'm probably going to put it into a box for operation write home. anywhoo... i used some lovely pink ribbon rosettes that i got from my sweet friend and fellow odbd teammate, sabrina, along with a bit of burlap, some pink and cream twine and a few buttons. it took a bit of futzing around to get the rosettes just right, but i think it was worth the time. the burlap and pink twine are from the funkie junkie and if you are into shabby chic bits and pieces you really need to check out linda's store. going to pop this into the current frilly & funkie sunday share. well... that's about it.
thanks for stopping by.....
supplies: cardstock: pti rustic cream; burlap: funkie junkie; twine: funkie junkie & pti; buttons: denami design; fishtail flag die: my favorite things

Your roses are divine Rosemary!! Love all the texture!!!
Beautiful pink roses, Rosie! Love the burlap too!
Hello Rosie
You should apply yourself a little more to working 'outside of the box' and 'futzing' as I am delighted with the result... the feeling is soft and warm and the shabby effect is gorgeous. Your burlap adds earthiness to your pretty Pink and, by adding twine bows you have created movement, and cards with movement are so pleasing to the eye.
I love it.
Smiles:)

Oh this is beautiful, Rosemary! I just got some burlap for something else, but I'm going to use it on a card, too. Love the Fall look on your blog--I've gotta figure out something new to do for mine.
