PTI's Create Along With Us

Hey friends!  Dropping in with a card for the January PTI Create Along With Us challenge.  I'm also adding this to the current Color Throwdown and the current Time Out challenge.  My card is a pretty much a copy of a lovely card that Dawn McVey created with the newly released Bold Blossoms stamp and die set.  I watercolored the background using Stampin Up! Smoky Slate reinker and once it was mostly dry I stamped the sentiment from Happiness in Bloom using grey and black inks.  The flowers were die cut from watercolor paper and stamped Memento Tangelo, Dandelion and London Fog inks.  I spritzed them with water so they would curl up a bit for some added dimension.  The leaves were also die cut from watercolor paper and then stamped using Memento Bamboo Leaves.  The main panel was die cut and then everything was layered on.  Adhered the panel to a light grey cardstock base.  Here is a photo of Dawn's beautiful card:

Thanks for stopping by today...

Supplies:  Cardstock:  SSS fog, Ranger watercolor paper; Stamps:  PTI Happiness in Bloom; Dies:  PTI Beautiful Blooms and A Jillian Vance Design; Inks:  Memento Bamboo Leaves, London Fog, Tangelo, and Dandelion, Stampin Up! Smoky Slate
