Hello! Popping in with a card for the Altenew monthly challenge, as well as Freshly Made Sketches. I don't often get time to participate in Altenew's challenge so when I had the chance this week I took it. Here is my card:

more floral cards...
Hello! Popping in with a couple more floral cards. Today's cards are for Freshly Made Sketches and Color Throwdown and Memory Box monthly challenge and Color Hues. (Affiliate linked list of supplies at the end of this post. Using my links allows me to earn a small commission at no cost to you. Thank you for your support.) First up is my card for Freshly Made Sketches and Color Throwdown.
Super simple card that I boosted up a little with the embossed background. I used the SSS Brushed Flower stamp set and lovely bright inks from Pinkfresh Studio. The embossed background was created using the SSS Geometric Lattice embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Simple Thank You sentiment set and was stamped using VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne. I adhered everything with thin 3D foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives.
My second card is for the Color Hues and Memory Box challenge. The Memory Box challenge is May Flowers making the die set I used called Gentle Blossom perfect for the challenge. I also used the Memory Box Hello Friend Posh Script die set on the card. I die cut the flower and leaf parts from bristol cardstock and then inked them with Pinkfresh Studio inks in Berrylicious and Candy Apple and Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine. I thought using the bristol cardstock would be a good thing, but despite blending on alot of ink it doesn't look like I did. Also, my aqua is more toward the green side of aqua instead of the blue side of aqua. Hope that is okay. This card is also very simple. I die cut a panel of white cardstock and then just adhered the flower and leaves. The sentiment was die cut from white cardstock three times and stacked. I die cut the shadow from thick vellum, adhered the white sentiment and then added it to the card front.

more stitching fun...
Hello! I'm back with two more projects that I made using the new Spellbinders alpha stitching dies. One project also features another new product from the May release. I had a lot of fun making both projects. An affiliate linked supply list is provided at the end of this post. Using my affiliate links allows me to earn a small commission at no cost to you. Thank you for your support. Here is my first project:
If you saw my previous card using the stitched alpha dies you will notice a theme. Sometimes I like to do that with projects that I create with a suite of Spellbinders products. When I have to make a lot projects it helps to streamline things. So with the stitched alpha dies I decided to go that route. As you can see I stitched the letters for hello in pink and yellow. I stitched the flowers using a darker shade of pink and yellow. For more interest I embossed the white cardstock panel after I die cut it with a slimline rectangle die. The folder I used was the one that was offered in February embossing folder club and is currently not available. The sentiment was foiled using gold foil, die cut and then adhered it to the card front after I added all the leaves and flowers.
This project actually started as a card, but then as I completed the other two cards I kept thinking about how fun it would be to turn the card into a decor project. I had two Tim Holtz Ideaology mini frames and knew they would be perfect for my idea. I painted the frame and the sides of the backing piece with white paint. Once they were dry I rubbed on some Fossilized Amber distress crayon in two of the corners for a little more interest. I picked the floral paper from the P13 Four Seasons Summer pad and trimmed it down to fit inside the frame. I adhered that with distress collage medium and let it dry. The sentiments are from the Stitched Alphabet Glimmer Descriptors hot foil plates were foiled with gold foil and then die cut. I popped up everything with foam squares or strips. There were a few little gaps so I die cut some small flowers and leaves to fill in those spaces. I finished off the flowers with drops of Nuvo glitter drops in yellow. I will be adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything but a card.

Spellbinder May Release!
Hello everyone! I'm popping in with a clean and simple card that I created using new products from the Spellbinders May release. It is another wonderful release with a little something for everyone. If you like to stitch and love the Spellbinders stitching dies, then you definitely need to check out the release because Spellbinders now has alpha stitching dies! A list of affiliate linked supplies will be at the end of this post. Using my links allows me to earn a small commission at no cost to you. Thank you for your support. Here is today's card:
You can purchase the full alphabet or each letter separately. Each letter is a set of two dies. The stitchable die and a shadow layer. That way you can use the stitching die by itself or with the shadow layer like I did. I used light blue DMC floss for the stitching on the letters. I pulled out the Stitched Flower die set and stitched the small flower from the set using a dark blue DMC floss. The shadows were die cut from Spellbinders Raindrop cardstock. I used thin foam squares to pop up the letters on the shadows and then adhered the letters to my panel that I had die cut with a rectangle die and then embossed with the embossing folder from the February embossing folder club. Unfortunately it appears that embossing folder is not available. I finished off the card by adding the stitched flower, the leaves and a sentiment that I had foiled in gold with my Glimmer. I also added small crystal gems to the center of the flower and the dot on the "i". I will be adding this to the current Seize the Birthday challenge as I have stitching on my card.

hello...
Hey there! Popping in with a clean and simple card for Color Throwdown and Freshly Made Sketches. What can I say? Those two challenges go together like peanut butter and jelly for me, lol! I'm also going to add this to the Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge of spring. I think my card has a spring-like look to it. A list of affiliate linked supplies is located at the bottom of this post. Using my links allows me to earn a small commission at not cost to you. Thank you for your support. Here is my card:
As you can see this is a very simple card and I took a bit of license with the FMS layout. I die cut white cardstock with the largest Folk Edge Rectangle die and adhered that to a card base with foam tape. I then die cut the Leafy Branch from pink and gold cardstock (I know in the photo it doesn't look like gold, but it is) and adhered them together, but slightly offset. I fired up my Glimmer and hot foiled all the butterflies from the Small Butterflies hot foil plate in gold and then die cut them with the matching die. I then picked out the butterfly I wanted to use and colored it simply with Copic markers in V01 and V04. I added some Nuvo drops in Morning Dew to the body of the butterfly. I adhered the branch and butterfly to the card front and then dug through all my already foiled Pinkfresh Studio sentiments created with the Everyday Sentiments foil plate and adhered that to finish things off.
For some reason I am unable to upload the graphic for the Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge. I hope that I will be able to add it to my post.

Hello everyone! I hope your day is going well. Today I'm hopping along with tons of talented crafters sharing projects created with the May Spellbinders club kits. You should have gotten here from Hussena Calcuttawala's blog. If you started here head over to the Spellbinders blog to see the full list of hoppers. And since this is a blog hop there are prizes! Leave a comment on the Spellbinders blog and you will have the opportunity to win one of three $25 gift certificates! Affiliate linked supply list can be found below. Using my links allows me to earn a small commission at no cost to you. Thank you for your support. Now onto my card!
For my card today I used the embossing folder club kit and the Glimmer club kit. The Glimmer club kit is so very versatile this month. You can create a hot foil butterfly or you can create a butterfly with stitching. I went with stitching this time and then hot foiled a sentiment from the kit. I kept things monochromatic by using cardstock and embroidery floss in the same teal color family. The foil I used is also teal. I finished off the card with gems from the Essentials Crystal Mix gem pack.
You can see all the Spellbinders clubs here. It is easy to join and you get perks like 10% off your purchases at Spellbinders while you are a club member!
Your next stop on the hop is Birgit Norton.

Simon Says Stamp Yay You Release!
Hello and happy Wednesday everyone! The new Simon Says Stamp Yay You release is now live and it is fabulous! Simon Says Stamp was so kind and sent me a beautiful new foil and cut set called Sketched Anemone. I used sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp Brushed Flowers and Sunflower Garden stamp sets. Affiliate links are listed at the bottom of this blog post. Using my links allows me to earn a small commission at no cost to you. Thank you for your support. I have three cards to share today. Let's take a look:
For this card I foiled the flower using bright pink foil and the leaves using green foil. The flower and leaves are on one plate so it was a little bit of a trick to get the foiling done well, but I managed. Once the foiling was done I die cut the image with the matching die and then colored everything with Copic markers. I decided to use a "go to" layout and then filled in the space with the branches die cut from vellum. I used the SSS Etched Berry Branch die and the leafy die from the Flower Bundle die set. I arranged everything and then stamped the sentiment from the Brushed Flowers in VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne ink. I adhered everything on my die cut white rectangle panel and then finished with pink rhinestones from Pretty Pink Posh. This card fits the Card Concept challenge so I will be adding it to their gallery. I would say that it falls in the clean and layered category.

Spellbinders May Club Kits
Happy May Day everyone! Since it is the first day of May that means that all the May Spellbinders club kits have been revealed. The kits this month are fun and several of them share the theme of stitching. At the end of my blog post I have a supply list with affiliate links. Using my links allows me to earn a small commission at no cost to you. Thank you for your support! Now let's take a look at what I created.
This first card was created with the May Glimmer kit called Stitched Glimmer Butterfly. The foil included with this month's kit is gold. I was so excited when I first pulled out the plates and dies for this kit. Then, and I'm being very honest here, I got a little concerned. I struggled to figure out how the some of the Glimmer plates worked with the butterflies in the kit. After a couple of days of thinking about it off and on I figured out something that worked for me. It was a little time consuming, but the end result turned out pretty nice. There are plates that allow you to hot foil stitching lines on the butterfly. For me to make it work I had to first die cut the butterfly, tape the plates in their correct places, slide in the foil and then placed it on my Glimmer. It was a bit "touch and go", but as you can see it worked! Hot foiling the sentiment was much easier, lol! I used gold foil for the sentiment and the butterfly. There are also dies that allow you to create stitching holes in the butterfly. I plan to make something using those dies in the near future. To finish the card, I die cut some butterfly pattern paper with the oval stitching die from the February 2022 small die kit. I adhered that to patterned paper from the same pad as the butterfly paper and then added it to a card base made from Spellbinders Alabaster cardstock. For a little sparkle I die cut the body and antenna from gold glitter cardstock. I will add this card to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything goes.
