The color combo that Nance from Paper Players picked out this week is really gorgeous: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Basic Grey & White, but I'm not entirely pleased with my effort this go round. To me there seems to be way too much white. Actually to be honest right now I'm feeling singularly lacking in creativity and wondering what I'm doing all of this cardmaking for, ya know. But... I just got some news that I'm not going to reveal until the appointed time that has me feeling a bit better about all this papercrafting craziness. Anywhoo... I think the other reason I'm not entirely happy with my card is I learned along time a go that I'm not a "skinny ribbon" person. I love my ribbon nice and wide, okay?? Unfortunately, in order to do the lacing I had to use skinny ribbon and then I was forced to make a bow using my Bow Easy to make a triple loop bow. I say forced to use because I'm still not a huge fan of the Bow Easy... think I just need a little more practice with it. All stamps are ODBD: Scripture Col. 6 and Grow in Grace.
Supplies: Cardstock: PTI white; SU! Rich Razzleberry; SU! DP; Stamps: ODBD; Spellbinders Lacey Circles; SU! white ribbon; Ink: Ancient Page Grey & SU! Old Olive; SU! grey cord button

OK Rosemary! You need a strong cup of tea or coffee or a yummy chocolate! Amongst all the negative talk here there seems like there is something positive you will be sharing soon and I can hardly wait! But I still found something good here today, your gorgeous card!
Yes Rosemary, you definately need some chocolate ... I actually think that we all could use a little chocolate :) These cards are so beautiful! ... I love everything about them!
OK, girlfriend... your card rocks! I think your ribbon is just perfect and I can't wait to hear your news!! As for lacking creativity... if I had half of what creativity you have in your little pinkie...
It's the perfectionist in ya... I know... I suffer too... Blessings dear friend...
Rosemary, I'm not sure what you are talking about but your card is gorgeous, I love how you threaded the ribbon through the loops of the diecut. Can't wait to hear what your news are ;o) Take care, and keep making your beautiful cards.
Every card that I have seen made by you has been just perfect and this one is no different. You always make top-notch cards, Rosie - the bow-easy bow is very pretty here. Don't be so hard on yourself!
Eager to hear your good news, too!
I totally agree. . .chocolate for sure! I actually believe we should all consume it daily! Love this beautiful card, Rosie!
Good to hear your thoughts Rosemary, I sometimes find myself wondering the reason behind my hobby but I enjoy the creative release it gives me.
Love your card and that ribbon is stunning including the bow....never thought of adding a covered button over the knot. Look forward to your news....have you been head-hunted for a design team???
