find joy every day...

Hey there!!   Have a card for this week's ColourQ challenge... another absolutely fun color combo!!  The layout is another fabulous sketch from the super talented Chupa!    All the stamps are from Hero Arts.

I started by stamping the white panel with the Hero Arts Classic Fabric Design background stamp using Stampin Up!'s Certain Celery ink.  I layered some white lace ribbon on top to soften the edge of the stamping. The flowers were created using the Hero Arts/Sizzix stamp and die set Bold Pop Designs.  Two flowers were stamped using SU!'s Melon Mambo ink and one flower stamped using Memento Dandelion ink.  The flowers were then die cut using the matching flower dies.  Love those Sizzix dies that match the Hero Arts stamps... makes cutting out the flowers a complete snap!!   I don't mind fussy cutting, but it sure is nice to be able to just get the job done with one pass through your die cutting machine!!   Some buttons were added to the centers of the flower for a more finished look. The sentiment was stamped using Tuxedo Black ink.

Thanks for stopping by....

Supplies:  Cardstock:  PTI white; SU! Tempting Turquoise; Inks:  Stampin Up! & Memento; Stamps:  Hero Arts; Dies:  Sizzix; Buttons:  Stampin Up!

That Bg looks wonderful in the warm Green Rosie, an excellent choice.
Love the added lace, by adding the glow of Yellow and bright Pink, you have changed the whole dynamic of the card, the softness is replaced by fun as you so aptly state.
Smiles:)

I just love these happy colors Rosemary! A beautiful card! That sketch is pretty awesome too, I should maybe try one of Chupa's sketches seeing as I go to her blog every day. It's all the very layered cards that are just a bit too challenging for me! But this card is totally superb!
