just for you....

hello friends!  the weekend has arrived and i have a little card to share.  this one uses the current sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch and the current ColourQ combo. 

I do admit this isn't a very original take on the sketch, but i like it.  i recently got a couple of new stamp sets from stampin up! and i used one of the sets for this card.  a strip of white cardstock was cut and then a partial circle punched out.   i placed the strip on my card based, applied some eclipse tape to the piece so that i wouldn't get any ink on the strip and then stamp the flower using orange and green inks.  the lattice image was then stamped using dark purply-maroon ink and the sentiment in black.  before adhering the piece to the card base i added a thin strip of black cardstock.  some clear rhinestones finished things off.
