you are amazing...

Hello friends!  Popping in with a card that is a little bit out of the box for me.  When I saw this week's Color Throwdown challenge I initially thought I would sit that one out.  I'm not a huge fan of black, white and yellow... together.   But then I thought that this would be a good way to challenge myself.  So I gave it a go and this is what I came up with...

I used my favorite SU! set Kinda Eclectic along with a sentiment from the SU! set Painted Petals.  Initially I was going to use a white piece of cardstock to stamp the sunburst image and then spied the piece of patterned paper (from the BasicGrey Highline pad) and decided to go a little outside the box and use that for my panel.  After stamping all the images using VersaFine Onyx Black and SU! Hello Honey I decided to add a thin line of black cardstock on the patterned paper panel.  The main panel was matted with additional black cardstock to break things up a little more.  I am being kind towards my own creation by saying it is interesting, lol!!  The layout is from Freshly Made Sketches so I will add it to their gallery.   Who knows... maybe it will grow on me, lol!!

Thanks for stopping by...

Supplies:  Cardstock:  Recollections white; PTI black; Patterned Paper:  BasicGrey; Stamps:  Stampin Up!; Inks:  Stampin Up! and VersaFine
