CTD99 & 2S4Y

Boy, those gals at Color Throwdown have been throwing down some really challenging color combos and this week was no exception!  Combo #99 is vanilla (cream), chocolate & turquoise.  Next week Color Throwdown will be celebrating their 100th combo with a huge party of sorts, featuring prizes from lots of sponsors.  It looks to be loads of fun and if you haven't throwdown color with the Color Throwdown next week would be the perfect time to give them a try.

My card layout is based on the current sketch from 2S4Y.  While the card looks pretty simple, it wasn't so easy to put together.  Is that how it works?   The "simple" card actually turns out to be the "not so simple" card!  lol!   After all that work I am pretty happy with how it turned out, though.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies:  Cardstock: PTI Vintage Cream; SU! Tempting Turquoise; Ink:  SU! Choc. Chip, Palette Cote Azure; Ribbon:  SU!;  SU! Choc. Chip cord button; twine;  Stamps:  PTI Turning a New Leaf

What a great take on the sketch, Rosemary. I love the way you stamped over the four squares. Very artsy!

It looks like the 'trickiness' was in those squares and placing them?I really like the card, and that ribbon is perfect.
