Quick post today with a card for the current
Etsy Inspired challenge and for the current
JUGs challenge. The Etsy inspiration store this week is
Glow Girl. A place where you can get really cute handmade coupon holders, totes and snack bags. I chose as my inspiration piece this picture showing some coupon holders made using black & white damask fabric. The holders all have really bright and fun interiors. I chose to use the bright blue accent color for my card.
My card is pretty simple and while I liked it I felt it was just lacking in something. Then I remembered the JUGS challenge to use the spotligh technique. I think just the little bit of spotlighting to the card provided the finishing touch.

Well firstly, I love that shade of blue against the white! Then I adore that beautiful punched border strip! And the spotlighting is fantastic, I always forget about that!
The spotlighting has added a wonderful dimension Rosie to the card.
