Howdy... Sassy Girl!!

Second post today... just had to share a couple of cards that I have made using the super adorable Pure Innocence stamps from My Favorite Things.   I cannot get enough of these cute little girls!!

First up is a card I made using the new PI set Cute-a-tude.    I stamped the little girl on cream cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink and then colored her with Copic markers.  I stamped her on some cute patterned paper from Echo Park (This & That line) and then trimmed out her dress which was adhered to the main image.  Some additional papers from the This & That pad were used for the back ground papers and to make the flowers.  The flowers were made using two MFT Die-namics dies... Royal Rose die & Rolled Scallop Flower.   And yay!! I think I'm finally getting the hang of making those rolled flowers.  I decided to use my quilling tool to help me roll them up and it works like a charm... wondering to myself why I didn't try it alooong time ago!!!    The layout for the card comes from this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge sketch (MFTWSC64).

I made the second card using the new PI Cowgirl set.  This set was part of a MFT PI VIP collection and it came with the companion set Cowboy and the cutest die set called Country Charms.  This die allows you to cut a horseshoe, hat, boot & star charm... how cool is that??  The papers I used are from the Cosmo Cricket Wanted 6x6 pad.  Lots of paper piecing was done for this little country charmer!  To finish off the card I used a couple of the charms from the die set.  This card was made using the Wednesday Sketch challenge sketch from the previous week (MFTWSC63).

Thanks for stopping by....

Supplies:  Cardstock:  Bazzill pink, green, teal & brown; PP:  Echo Park This & That & Cosmo Cricket Wanted; Stamps:  MFT; Dies:  MFT & Spellbinders; Twine:  May Arts;

Awwww, so cute. Great paper piecing, and love the touches of dimensionality too. Oh and thanks for the quilling tool tip. Now why didn't I think of that?

They are great cards Rosie, you still manage to keep within your style even when you have cute images to play with.

These cards are so sweet! I can see why you like these images--feeling outnumbered by males in your house?--LOL! The rolled flowers are perfect! I may need to get some dies.
