One Card, Two Challenges....

A short post today with a card for two challenges:  ColourQ (CQC42) and City Crafters (CCCB14).  The lovely gals at City Crafters were so kind to me earlier this week and voted the card I entered in their last challenge into the "Artist Spotlight"!  What made it even more exciting to me is that it was the first time I had ever entered their challenge!   This week the City Crafters challenge is a sketch and worked perfectly for my card for ColourQ.  Yet another absolutely YUMMY color combo from Arielle!

For the card I got out my Ranger Distress inks (Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw & Barn Door) and did some sponging/distressing.   The floral image is from the cool SU! set Fifth Avenue Floral... another set I don't use enough.   The background paper is October Afternoon's Thrift Shop and the rhinestones are Kaiser Craft.  The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps Asian Garden Additions set.

Thanks for stopping by.... I so enjoy reading your comments!  Hope your weekend is lovely!

I have to go see YOU in the spotlight - I'm sure it looks beautiful on you, my dear and talented friend! Speaking of good... HELLO! How LOVELY is this card? BEYOND lovely! I had to do a double take between your work and that wonderful inspiration - flawless interpretation! What a super way to celebrate those colors and you mighty fine talent! GREAT job, sweet pea!
