A Christmas Card... in March!

Yep... another Christmas card.  This time I made the card for two Our Daily Bread Design challenges: ODBD Shining the Light & Stamping in Time.  The ODBDSLC challenge is a sketch and the Stamping in Time is to make... a Christmas card.

I used my ODBD set Blessed Christmas for the card.  Blessed Christmas includes a beautiful poinsettia image and has a coordinating die making it easy peasy to cut out the image.   I colored the poinsettia with the following Copic markers:  R24, R27, R29, Y21, YG93 & YG93 and then die cut it with the coordinating die.  I diecut the oval frame using my Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval Window Die.  A plain oval was cut using a Spellbinders die and then stamped with the sentiment from Blessed Christmas. The patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Jovial 6x6 pad.

Thanks for taking a peek...

Supplies:  Cardstock:  Stampin Up! Old Olive; PTI white & Pure Poppy; Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, PTI Pure Poppy; PP:  Basic Grey Jovial; Stamps:  ODBD Blessed Christmas; Dies:  ODBD Poinsettia die; Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval Window die; Spellbinders Plain Oval dies; Copic Markers Rhinestones:  KaiserCraft;

Hi Rosemary :) I still love seeing Christmas Cards and this one is totally gorgeous. I always think that I should make a few every month and be ready at Christmas without the rush. The poinsettia on your card is my favorite. So beautiful!! :)

YOU are TOTALLY excused for making a Christmas card in March - ESPECIALLY when it's THIS gorgeous. I'm drinking in all of these details, like a glorious cup of EggNog infused coffee, listing to Christmas tunes - it's SPECTACULAR! Fa, la, LA!
