Delightful Daffodils...

The current challenge over at the ODBD (ODBDSLC53) blog is to create a card that depicts new life.   So for my card I used the new ODBD stamps Daffodil Corner and Eternity, as well as their first ever exclusive die set from Spellbinders, Elegant Ovals.   Here in Western Washington daffodils start poking their little heads out of the ground in mid to late February and they are in full bloom by the middle of March.  This time of year, in general, just speaks of new life with all the plants coming back to life and Easter just around the corner.

I stamped the Daffodil Corner in Memento's Bamboo Leaves on PTI's white cardstock and colored the image with the following Copic markers:  Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17, Y19, YG00, YG03 & YG06.  The image was then trimmed out and some Old Paper distress ink applied to the image.  I stamped the border image from Eternity in Memento Dandelion and the sentiment using Bamboo Leaves.  This was then die cut using the largest die from the Elegant Ovals set.  The oval and image were popped up using foam dimensionals.  I cut up a green Zva Creative flourish and adhered that to the card.  The patterned paper is from the BasicGrey Origins 6x6 pad.

Thanks for taking a peek...

Supplies:  Cardstock:  SU! Pear Pizzazz; PTI white; Ink:  Memento Bamboo Leaves & Dandelion, Ranger Old Paper; Stamps:  ODBD Daffodil Corner & Eternity; Copic Markers; Elegant Oval dies; Zva Creative green crystal flourish.
