I made a little "beachy" card today using the sketch from the current
DeNami Design challenge (sketch challenge #3). The stamps are from the
{Stamps} of Life set Summer4Fun. The set is full of cute beach images like the sandcastle that I used for the card, as well as a surfboard and beach ball. {Stamps} of Life has lots of other really cute sets that are reasonably priced and if you join the club you get lots of special perks. Anywho..... back to my card. I used Flower Soft for the first time on my card. My LSS, Artco, started carrying Flower Soft six months or so ago. When I got the Summer4Fun set I knew I need make a trip to the store and see if they had the Sand color... which they did. I need to work on my technique with the glue, but overall I think the card turned out pretty well.

I haven't heard of that challenge before, thanks for sharing! I also haven't seen Flower Soft used for sand before....but, it looks really good on that cute sand castle. :> I love time at the coast, so very relaxing. I noticed you are from Tacoma. I lived there when I was little, over thirty years ago. Mom used to drive us out to the Sound at night, just for the peace of it. :> Hope you are having a really fun week!
