It Was One of Those Weekends

Where pretty much nothing went the way I wanted to it.  On Saturday I had hoped to make a card for one of my favorite color challenges, ColourQ, but instead I was literally flat on my back for most of the day with one of the worst migraines I have EVER had!   It sucked!!  So, I got nothing done.... a big fat NOTHING!!  Thank goodness I had waiting in the wings a card already made for another one of my favorite color challenges from the lovely and talent Dawn of WPlus9Design Studio, which is oddly enough is also called Color Cue!!  I just realized that!  Anyway, both color challenges are fantastic whichever one you decide to go with.  In fact, try both!!!   If you have not had a chance to purchase any of Dawn's wonderful stamp sets, please head to her store pronto (click either link above) and check thenm out.   For my card I used a set that Dawn debut last month called the Birds & the Bees.  What an adorable set!!!   And she just reveal two new sets for July... again, both super cute!

I hope that everyone in the US had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!  Heres to a better week, no migraines and lots of cardmaking.   Thanks for taking a peek!

You are a wonderful purveyor of all things STAMPING and challeges-o-fun and YEAH! I mean, "yeah" that you made this ZESTY and gorgeous card, showcasing the color magic of Dawn's palette and still were spirited and positive, in spite of not feeling all that well.... {Doh!} And thank HEAVENS you are better and didn't deny the blogosphere the joy of that lovely creation for a minute longer! So, my dear, I see FIREWORKS of goodness in your craft, right here, baby! ENJOY the rest of your day! xoxoxoxo!

Ugh...migraines are the worst! Do you get the ones that cause nausea too? Hope you are feeling 100% again, cause your card it 100% fantastic! I love the scallops and the little strip of green you added to the right side.
