Live in the....

sunshine!  Hello, friends!  Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  We haven't had alot of sunshine this weekend, but that's okay with me.  I like it when things cool down a bit. I think many of my fellow LIMettes who live in the UK are finally getting some sunshine, though.  Just in time for the Olympics!  I had a chance to make a couple of cards one of which I'm going to share right now.   This card is for the current Less is More challenge, as well as the current Dynamic Duos challenge (Early Espresso & Crumb Cake).   This week Chrissie and Mandi provide us with a lovely CAS sketch to work with.

I went with a white card base and then added a piece of Crumb Cake that I stamped with an image from the Stampin Up! SAB set Fresh Vintage using Early Espresso ink.  I also added a little butterfly from another Stampin Up! SAB set Elementary Elegance.  Some really sweet daisy trim that I purchased from the Funkie Junkie's Zibbits store was added to the bottom of the stamped piece along with some Crumb Cake seam binding.   The sentiment (also from SU! - Pursuit of Happiness) was stamped using Early Espresso to finish everything off.   I think I will putting this into the current Sunday Share over at Frilly & Funkie.  I know I have said this before, but if you have never checked out the Funkie Junkie's Zibbits store you really should.  Linda has some really lovely items.

Thanks for stopping by...

Supplies:  Cardstock:  PTI white & SU! Crumb Cake; Stamps:  Stampin Up!; Ink:  Stampin Up!; Trim:  Funkie Junkie; Seam Binding:  Stampin Up!

Hello Rosie.
The starkness of the White juxtaposing the Kraft/crumb cake is stunning, the addition of the few elements makes for a clean elegant card.
Smiles:)
