be home soon...

Hey there... stopping in with a quick little post sharing a card that I made for the current CASology challenge and the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge:  Anything Goes
This week the cue word is "wood" and boy oh boy do I have a lot of little wooden pieces, lol!!  I have way too many packages of these fun little shapes and recently found another package that I had completely forgotten about.  Yikes.  The little pieces I used today are from the Crate Paper Stitched together line and a Studio Calico heart that I colored red.  The sentiment is from the Hero Arts clear set All the Time.  I added a little bit of woodgrain texture to my card base using my current favorite technique of partial embossing.

Thanks for stopping by...

Supplies:  Cardstock:  PTI kraft; Stamps:  Hero Arts; Ink:  Memento & Stampin Up!; wood veneer embellishments:  Studio Calico & Crate Paper; Stampin Up! Woodgrain embossing folder

Rosemary, this is just SO...SO...SO adorably SWEET! Love the darling houses against the partially embossed background! (I love this technique.)

AND, "kraft" cardstock always causes me to stop to admire a little longer.

Great card and I will have to try the partial embossing because it is such a great focal point. I enjoy the cards you make using Precious Remembrance stamps (my new favorite company).
