Heartfelt Wednesday - Daffodil Pail

My Heartfelt Creations project today was one that I had been wanting to do ever since I received the Springtime Medley collection.  More specifically... I wanted to use the Daffy Daffodils set to make this project.  Finally I got the time (and boy did I need that time!) to get it made.

Several years ago I had purchased these little acrylic pails that were full of Prima flowers.  I have since used the flowers and had saved the empty pail because "I just knew I would use them for something!".   They were perfect for my project!   Most of the time was spent either diecutting or handtrimming out the flowers.  The large daffodil was diecut using the Heartfelt Creations Springtime Medley dies that coordinate with the stamp sets.  The smaller daffodils were diecut as well.   But because I wanted the trumpet to be a different color, I had to handtrim those out.   All the papers used for the project are from PaperTrey Ink (Bitty Dot Basics).  After I had finished adhering everything to the pail, I then tied bits of ribbon around the handle to finish the look.

Thanks for taking a peek... please check out the Heartfelt Creations blog to see what the rest of the design team has created!

Supplies:  Heartfelt Creations Daffy Daffodil set; Springtime Medley Dies; PTI papers & ribbons; Inks:  Close to My Heart & Memento
