A Waltzingmouse @ the Shabby Tearoom

My card today is a pretty simple one.  I used the current Waltzingmouse sketch and combined it with the colors from the inspiration photo from the Shabby Tearoom.   One of my Flickr friends, Michelle, is the guest designer this week over at the Shabby Tearoom so I thought I would play along this time.  Michelle is very good at the shabby chic look so it was definitely a "no brainer" for her to be a guest designer!

Initially I thought would try to make a shabby chic card, but instead I went clean and simple for my card because that is more my style.  But in keeping with the inspiration photo added something warm and fuzzy in the way of the felt rose that I made using my rolled rose die from My Favorite Things.   I tried to make sure that I incorporated most of the colors from the inspiration photo, as well.

Thanks for taking a peek....

Supplies:  Cardstock:  SU! Crumb Cake; Stamps:  SU! Medallion & My Favorite Things Polka Dot Greetings; Ink:  SU! Baja Breeze & Riding Hood Red; Felt: My Favorite Things; Pearl:  SU!

Simplicity at it's best. The felt surely gives it a toasty warm feel. The off center medallion is striking! So very nice. Congrats on honorable mention at Shabby Chic!
