ODBDSLC100...

Hey there!!  Happy Saturday!  Time for another ODBD Shining the Light challenge and since this is ODBD's birthday month we are continuing to celebrate.  This time the challenge team is asking you to use aqua or topaz and your favorite scripture or quote on your card.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for thprize must be submitted by Friday, March 16th at 8 a.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on most of our challenges, this month it is an Our Daily Bread Designs only challenge month in honor of the ODBD 4th Anniversary.  Three or more of our participants will be chosen for the  Shining the Light Award .  In order to qualify for this award or join the challenge, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Friday,  March 16th at 8 a.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any otheronline gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC100. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

For my card I decided to use the color aqua and paired it with white.   The scripture that I used on my card is one of my favorites and comes from the Scripture Col. 7.   The tag was created using the Daffodil Tag set. The layout for the card is from this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge.   I used a new Sizzix/Stampin Up! die that I recently purchased.    I have to admit that when I first used the die things weren't working quite right with the die and I was ready to return it to my SU! demo.    Once I used the cutting platform that came with my Big Shot the die worked perfectly!

Thanks for stopping by... please take some time to check out the beautiful projects created by my fellow "sticks" LoriJan MarieJanDebiChrisKathy, and Sabrina! To join in the fun, please click here.

I think Turquoise is one of my favourite colours Rosie, I say that today as I am looking at your card, next time your card will be in a different colour and then that will be my favourite!!!!
It has such clean lines and fluency, from the flower to the pearl trim and buttons.
Just a wonderful colour combination.
Smiles:)
