Hello! Got a clean and simple card to share today. When I made this card I was only planning to post it to the Color Hues challenge, but then when I checked this morning the new Paper Players challenge is clean and simple spring! My card fits perfectly. I love it when that happens! Take a look.
It is a little bit of a weird weather day here in my neighborhood. It is overcast, but the sun is trying to shine. Makes for not so great photos. I recently purchased Wisteria Wishes stamps and dies from Stampin Up! and really wanted to use it. When I saw the colors at Color Hues I thought the combo would be perfect for the layered stamping required for the wisteria images. There are several shades to the color turquoise. I went with the brighter more blue version (think Sleeping Beauty turquoise) for my turquoise. I stamped the main image using Altenew Turquoise ink and then detail layer with Pinkfresh Studio Blue Jay and then die cut with the matching die. I stamped the leafy branch with Simon Says Stamp Fog ink, the sentiment with VersaFine Clair Nocturne and then die cut the panel. I popped up the image with low profile foam squares and then added a few gems in a turquoise and dark blue. Clean and simple as can be!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Pretty CAS card, Rosemary! I like the soft gray you added!
This is so lovely, Rosemary! You sure have the perfect CAS touch! Thanks for being in our gallery at Color Hues!
CAS and absolutely lovely Rosemary! I love the blue and turquoise on the Wisteria...it really looks FABULOUS together! I love the simplicity of this card too...really makes it stand out! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at The Color Hues Challenge! Marcia (DT)
Rosemary, Clean, Simple and lovely. The wisteria just pops off the page. Thanks for taking part in the Spring CAS Challenge at the Paper Players this week.
OH! This is GORGEOUS Rosemary, love the delicate branch with the wonderful Wisteria flowers.
Clean and beautiful, Rosemary! Such gorgeous colors make the wisteria "pop" against the white. I do not own Wisteria Wishes, but after viewing your card, it has been added to my list. The gems really set off both the blossoms and the sentiment. Thank you for playing in my challenge at The Paper Players this week!
Rosemary, your card is a beauty! I especially loved your scattering of gems along the branch and of course your pretty wisteria! Thank you so much for joining us at Color Hues!
Another beautiful card, Rosemary, and I love the color choice and combination
