WCMD Cards

So Saturday was world cardmaking day and Pinkfresh Studio had lots of challenges going on.  I was able to make two cards that fit four of their challenges.  First up is a card for the thank you and monochromatic challenges.  I used the Pinkfresh Believe in yourself stamp set and a thank you die that is a collaboration between Scrapbook.com and Pinkfresh.  I was taken by Jenny's card for the monochromatic challenge and decided to go a similar route.  I used a set of gray inks that I have from Altenew for all the stamping.  Once done I die cut the thank you from the center and then several times more.  Everything was inlaid and then I added some clear sequins for a little sparkle.  I really like how it turned out.  Going to add it to the Simon Says Stamp world cardmaking day line up, as well.

The second card is super simple and is for the Pinkfresh clean and simple and rainbow challenges.  I have a very old Pinkfresh set called Bloom & Grow (no longer available) that has lots of lovely floral and leaf type images.  I used one of the leaf images to stamp my rainbow using Catherine Pooler inks.  I trimmed the panel down to fit a A2 sized card base and then added a little strip of black cardstock to either side.  The sentiment is from another old Pinkfresh set called Abstract Builders and was heat embossed on the panel with black embossing powder.  Going to add this one to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything goes, as well as their world cardmaking day line up and to CAS(E) this Sketch as I used their layout for the card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope to get a couple more cards made for the Pinkfresh challenges.  Have a lovely day!

Beautiful gray & white bouquet for the monochromatic challenge & love the font of the die cut word! The rainbow leaves card is really neat!

The rainbow sprigs are just so pretty, Rosemary ... and the monochrome is a beauty ... so elegant and stylish, especially with the camouflaged sentiment! Hugs, Anita :)
